GUARDIAN WINDOWS

I spent a lot of money for these windows. They are supposed to be energy efficient. But when you can fell cold air coming into the house, how can that be energy efficient?

The windows look beautiful, but I do not believe they put enough insullation in the windows. They were professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up after themselves.

In the beginning they were really nice. They came out and measured and did everything they were supposed to do. We had gone over to their showroom to pick out the windows we wanted. I thought the warranty was transferable to new owners however after they installed the windows I said something to the manager about window treatments for my bay window and he said if I put anything on the vinyl it would void the warranty. I said something at that point about it being transferable and he said that didn't apply. I would not recommend them to anyone. Some of the trim they put up where they had to miter the corners didn't match. They also did not fill in the nail holes. They seemed put out that they had to come out and finish what they should have done in the first place.

Their windows were much cheaper and we were wondering why. Well, we found out why. They were doing the estimate based on the number of openings, but later when they got ready to measure they were giving us a price for the number of windows and each opening. They refused to give us that breakdown when it was requested twice earlier. Needless to say, we decided not use this company.
