Affordable Concrete Raising

They were very good.

In July of 2020 Affordable Concrete Raising lifted up a 5ft x 10ft section of our patio concrete, which was slanted toward our house. We are delighted with their work! Ron was very professional and informative when he came to look at our patio and give us an estimate. The work crew arrived on time, were very careful to make sure that the rising concrete cleared the edge of our concrete stoop, and cleaned up afterwards. They even succeeded in freeing up the post of a metal railing so the concrete could rise around it and we wouldn't need to replace the railing. Their price was very competitive ($700) and our experience was positive from start to finish.

Signed the contact on Monday, came to the house on Friday (first day of a 95+ heat wave). Went right to work and done in under an hour. Front pathway was raised 3" ($150) while the large cavity under the stoop was filled completely ($450)

Great. Ron and his crew were professional and hard working. Work was done on time. Any questions we had Michelle, in the office, or Ron, the owner, were always prompt in getting back to us. This was a big job for a serious foundation problem. Would highly recommend Affordable Concrete in Frankfort, IL.

Our driveway had sunk near the 3 car garage creating about a 2 to 3 inch bump all the way across. They raised the driveway up to level it with the garage entry. The workers were very nice and detail oriented. They cleaned up the job site very nicely. Also, you can hardly tell where the holes they drilled in the concrete are...they did a great job matching the old to the new. They gave direction on the work we needed to do on the sides of the driveway to add stability because they had to raise it so much. Completed the job within the amount of time they said it would take. The office staff was very nice and responsive. We are very pleased with the work. Definitely recommend them. We had a couple of other quotes and they turned out to be more expensive. And those companies were hard to get a hold of and not as responsive as Affordable Concrete was.

The estimator Ken came in the designated time frame set up.  I wanted to talk to the estimator personally. Explained the differences between poly jacking and mud jacking. He was knowledgeable about the entire process including questions I had about void filling. The caulking of 2 joints was included in the price. A quote was issued as soon as we finished the inspection. One was given to me the other emailed to their office directly from his truck. This is great to avoid any confusion about the quote.. I received 3 quotes total. Their price was the best. It also had the caulking included. I talked to the owner to make sure the quote was clear to them and everything that was stated in the contract  was included in the price. He said that it was and I would be called to set up the time and date for the work to be done. I signed the quote and emailed a scanned copy to their office.  Received a call from their office giving me a date and time, weather permitting. The night before the work was to be performed, I received a call about the time for the job to be done. The following morning the men arrived on time to do the mud jacking. The process went well and the the site was cleaned up before they left. I was told the caulker would be there in 2 hours to finish the job. The caulker arrived on time and finished the project. He explained how long to stay off the walk.
Very pleased by the whole process. Also, they have a 2 year guarantee if the slab sinks by 1/2 inch or more. 3 void fill holes, 2 lifting holes and 2 joints caulked with self leveling polyurethane caulk. Very good job at a very good price.

The deck was fractured into three sections, so it was very difficult to get all three sections back in alignment. The workers gave it their best. They also raised the walkway to the front porch. They ran into unforeseen difficulties here too, but left this portion of the job in a better condition than what I would have expected. Yes I would use these guys services again.

Work went fine. Nothing extraordinary to note. They showed up and raised the 10x4ft slab in about an hr.
