"It is very unfortunate this customer has decided to continue down this road. This gentleman's wife told us to cancel their contract and chose not to work with us any longer. We felt it was best we refund this customer for the remainder of their Multi-flo service contract. We were informed they found another service provider who is better suited to meet their needs. It is best to just cash the check and move on."
"We are sorry this gentleman feels this way. We always try our best to satisfy our customers. He had scheduled to have his septic tank pumped then several days prior to the appt. asked if we did rodding. He was told we did from the outside only; internal rodding needs to be done by a LICENSED PLUMBER. Said he would call back. He was trying to rod himself. The day prior to the pumping appt. he scheduled for us to send our servicemen out saying he could not get ahold of the previous company he used. Our servicemen tried rodding to clear the line for over an hour. He has a cast iron BRANCH line which is difficult to access and told our crew he understood and thinks the other company got lucky the last time. Our service crew dug up the front of his tank thinking perhaps they could run the rod straight through past the clean-out. The clean-out has LIMITED ACCESS. When they could not get the blockage cleared by rodding they suggested hydro-jetting to remove the sludge blockage. The customer chose NOT to have our servicemen try hydro-jetting. The other company mentioned above would have charged him in the past. This was our first attempt. We were not given the opportunity to try other options. Furthermore, as of July 15th he was still having issues and told the owner he was just going to try buying a more powerful toilet. He did not like the expensive estimate given by our competitor."
I have signed up for a annual service plan each year for the past 10 years, and Ron's Tidy Tank has performed numerous services to my septic tank and multi-flo system during this time, resulting in aggregate fees paid to Ron's Tidy tank of $5,975. On 8/16/16, they came out to my house to perform a routine check-up as outlined in the annual service agreement (2x per year), and the service man backed the van into my basketball hoop/net alongside my driveway. The service man did not acknowledge this prior to his departure. Once I noted what had occurred, as my wife noted the van parked directly under the basketball net, I called the owner of Ron's Tidy Tank and informed him of what had occurred. He informed me he would look into it and call me back. he then had the service man call me back, and he indicated he was sorry and would stop by and fix the basketball net. I indicated to the service man that I would prefer he not fix it (i.e., cheaply by hammering some wood alongside the basketball pole), as he most likely does not have the equipment to fix concrete that has been uplifted from the ground. I found it interesting the owner had the service man call me back and suggested he fix the basketball net. The owner then called me and told me he was cancelling my service contact and did not want to do business with me any longer. I informed him that I was a long standing customer that had spent a couple of thousand dollars with him over the years and was surprised this is how he treats "good" customers. He told me there was no way I spent that amount of money with his company and told me to go back and look at my check book. I did go back and look at all of the payments, and they added up to $5,975 (so I clearly was conservative when I indicated a couple of thousands $, it was much more). He then proceeded to hang up on me after telling me he did not want to do business with me any longer.
Needless to say, this is very disappointing and suspect should anything go wrong on a project, this Company WILL NOT stand behind their work or actions, and the proof is how they treat long standing customers once they damage a customer's property. I highly recommend not to use this company as they are not professional and boarder line unethical.
"We are so sorry Mr. [Member Name Removed] feels this way. He is correct, he had been a long time customer and he always paid for services rendered. Unfortunately, he did not understand the reason why we wanted our serviceman to stop back by was to check the damage, confirm whether he hit it and take a picture; not to repair it. We do not do these types of repairs and have insurance to cover any accidental damage done to a customer's property. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was asked to get estimates for the repair of his basketball hoop and forward them to us. We never received any estimates and do not understand why Mr. [Member Name Removed] chose to go this direction instead. We were more than willing to work with him."
"We apologize for any confusion this customer may have had regarding our service."
