LEADER ACE HARDWARE & RENTALS

I went into the store on a Saturday and asked their rental department if I could rent one of their bobcat units and drive it up the street to my house, the clerk and the rental counter said that as long as I had a caution sign on the bobcat, it would be just fine. The reason I went in to check was that I was going to take work off during the week to get the work done at my house with the bobcat. I then went to the store and was told that unless I had my own trailer I couldn't rent the bobcat. I was given no other alternatives and there was no remorse that because of what they had lead me to believe, I took time off work and now had lost a day for no reason. Once I got home a few minutes later I called to talk to the store manager. As I was talking, the manager hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. I then went down to the store to talk to him so I wouldn't get hung up on again. Once I got there, he wanted nothing to do with me and I asked if he hung up on customers regularly and he answered yes and then told me to leave. I tried to go here in the past to support my local community businesses but won't be going here anymore since the customer service is so terrible and the management obviously is too busy to provide customer service.
