Center Guard Plumbing

Terrible company! I had a home warranty that was set to expire at the end of the year and my hot water heater went out a week before. I was set up with center guard plumbing who came out and only replaced a part on the water heater that didnt need to be replaced. The whole thing needed to be replaced! The "repair did nothing so incalled them back a week later and they sent a plumber out who actually did testa this time and told me it was shot and if he was the tech last time he wouldve replaced the whole thing. But because the warranty had just expired after the initial "repair" all they did was quote me an outrageous price for a new one. They dont stand by their work and thats a shame

They change the pipe, they ordered the parts and came back to fix the pipe; they came on time they do a good job.

call them to get a quote to replace my water heater. Price was lower than other providers quotes and was able to schedule replacement for the next day.

They came and looked at a water heater issue. Disregarding the issue, they scratched our new wood floors. We called them to just come out and see the floors and refused to do so. I would not recommend Center Guard for any plumbing job in Chicago!

They were excellent. They did an excellent job. These gentlemen came and took care of the problem quickly. They are going to come and do another project for me in a while. On price, you can't beat the price. I was insured by Nicor Home Solutions, and it was nothing. I don't know what they would regularly charge but mine was nothing. On responsiveness, they came out real quick; they were very pleasant. On punctuality, they were right on time.

Center Guard was assigned to me by Home warranty of america after i reported a leak with my water heater. I received a call from Center Guard the same day and they inspected the water heated and reported that it needed to be replaced. I was able to schedule an appt to replace the unit the next week without any issues. The plumber who came out both times, Kevin, was courteous and professional throughout the visit. He was knowledgeable and was willing to explain to me what was being done and why. I am very satisfied with the service I received and plan to use Center Guard for my future plumbing needs outside of the home warranty issues. Thanks again, Kevin.

Two plumbers showed up an hour late, looked at the leak on a pipe in my basement and said they couldn't fix it. They claimed it was a water dept problem, and that the city would need to take care of it. The charged $100 for their "expert" advice and walked out the door. After an experienced water dept. rep made it clear this claim was false, Center Guard just blew me off. I managed to hire a reputable local plumber who resolved the problem easily. What's a little more water in the carpet, eh? Don't waste time or money with these guys.

They were excellent.  They did not charge anymore than the quote.  He explained what he did before he did.  He also asked my opinion.
