Barefoot Decks

The crew that build out deck (Mark's team) was absolutely phenomenal! Mark answered any questions I had and also kept me up to date each day on their progress. His team was very professional and polite! Excellent to work with. However, the professionalism and responsiveness we've received from the management side has not been great and is why I'm giving them such a low rating... This was our 1st time having a deck built, and on more than 1 occasion Bob & Kodi were quick to discredit another decking company we were originally looking to go with. Saying the other company was a horrible and their quality of decking is poor (even though they were also another Trex builder). At the beginning of our project we were told not to "micromanage them", even though we wanted to be kept in the loop of our project because we've gotten burned in the past by others. Our deck was shorted 1.5 ft on the width because they did not double check their measurements. They were just going off another company's quote/specs that they offered to price match. We discovered the shortage after measuring our deck for new outside furniture. After the deck was built, we were told they would lay grass seed down on the areas that were turned up from the digging. That was never done. We followed up with Bob & Kodi a couple days after the deck was completed, but it took them several days to get back to us. Bob tried to rectify the shortage of our deck and offered us a discounted quote for another project and said he would get us the quote within a few days. We're going on a month now still waiting on our quote. Several emails have been sent in the last 3 weeks with no responses. I will never use them again! At this point I just want my money back for the 21 sq ft I was shorted.
