WOW! Cal at Knapp kitchens is absolutely amazing. From the moment he stepped into our small kitchen, he knew exactly what to do. His design ideas were spot on which is no small feat for a very small kitchen. We didn't do major moving of piping because of this small area but we did flip the sink and dishwasher which was a smart idea. Before, if the dishwasher door was open, you couldn't get into the dining room unless you closed it. The cabinets are custom made - they are Amish and VERY beautiful. Cal worked with us every step of the way from picking out tile, counters (we used livingstone) and flooring (we used travertine stone). His professionalism and craftsmanship is to be commended. He was prompt, courteous, hardworking and ALWAYS cleaned up after himself. He has specific plumbers and electricians he works with and they were all very good, too. We LOVE our new kitchen and people who come by cannot believe it's the same space. I wish I had before pictures but I will post after. It's stunning. We have recommended Cal to several friends and they are using him, too. We are in the process of getting our bathroom redone and will definitely call him again. You will be thrilled with the workmanship and professionalism. That's hard to come by these days.

Everyone in Bloomington uses them, they are a great company. The owner, Darren, has incredible suggestions for tight places and difficult areas. If you have no clue as to what you want he works with them to figure out a design they might like. Darren is also an artist so he can draw the concept in front of the person. Then the person has an idea right there on the spot what it will look like, not everyone can do that.
