Working with McShane-Hibbitts was, basically, amazing. I have worked with other contractors int the past who rarely maintained the timetable and cost. The work done on my home was professional, done on time and I was updated regularly and notified if anything was found that needed repair. The price was fair and honest and did not change. Even though I was given a time frame and estimate, I expected, as in the past, both to increase. The timetable remained consistent and the only cost changes were those for additional work or services. The work done is high quality - my sense is mostly because of the integrity of the contractor and the pride they take in their work. I highly recommend them.

I did not select him, but he did the quote right. He was one of the two finalists. He did everything he said he was going to do. The price he quoted me was $149,000. I liked the fact that he was straight and gave me what I asked for in terms of their detail. I know an architect since high school recommend him, so I knew I could count on him. He seems to be honest and straightforward. I had no complaints at all.

I've engaged them to do the work. I've used them before. They do very good quality work and they are reliable. They do a good job and their prices are reasonable.

He did a beautiful job. He was very clear in the rate agreement ahead of time, with everything spelled out. He worked well with the architect that I used. He kept me informed throughout the process, and had good suggestions for improvements and changes.
