I would not hesitate to go back. I called a few hours ahead for an oil change. They started as soon as I arrived. I have been to Pep Boys and JiffyLube - they have nothing on Elite. The level of service is outstanding. Elite even replaced the dipstick that one of the franchise shops lost and wanted to charge me to replace. Oil change plus dipstick was approximately $40. The service area is very comfortable and clean, it's not noisy, and the gentleman behind the counter is mature, professional and really kind. Super impressed given the poor level of service at the chain shops.

I feel that i can trust them to do just what is needed and not create imaginary problems. On some occasions I have had a problem list which Rod prioritized and we worked through the list as I had the budget. It is possible to get service and tires cheaper but I like the continuity with one service center over time with my car. I call in before going and Rod will advise me the best time or day to come.

We had a flat tire and took it in to get replaced. They were very helpful, professional and the car was ready when they said it would be. I also had an oil change performed at the time. I was very happy with the service and will use them in the future.

I called to arrange for one tire for our car because I knew they would have to order it. When my wife took the car there the next day they told her they would need to replace 3 tires. Then when we went to pick up the car they told us the battery was dead when they tried to pull the car into the lift so they replaced the battery. And they also charged us for a cabin air filter. What should have been a $300 bill turned into $1100 with all the upselling. Everyone knows that replacing the cabin air filter is just a trick that unreputable oil change joints use to rack up the bill.
Were these guys professional? Yes, professional con artists.

I trust them with everything for my vehicle. I know it is always going to cost exactly what they say it is going to cost. They are an automotive service provider you can trust and know that they are being honest.

We have an 1998 Toyota Rav 4 with about 160,000k miles on it. On a Saturday morning, the car would not start when it rained and the battery was not holding a charge. The car was stranded in Forest Park so I found Elite on Angie's list. Elite had Sunday hours which was a plus. I explained the problem to Randy and he offered a tow if we could not get the car started. We jumped the vehicle a drove it to Elite around 10:00am. Randy was very attentive and asked all the right questions to determine the problem we were having. He said he would have someone look at it by the afternoon (busy place) and call us with the details. He called us around 4:00 pm and said the electrical system was arching and needed two new coils, spark plugs and wires and a positive battery terminal to correct the problem. Unfortunately, the parts were not in stock so the repair could not be completed until Tuesday (holiday weekend). When I asked Randy if it was ok to drive until then, he did not recommend it for safety reasons. I agreed to leave it there until the repair could be completed. I received a call on Tuesday around 2:00pm stating the repair was complete as promised. We would return there for service if needed.

They repaired the leak just fine. The tire did not leak any longer after they fixed it. What they did to get the poor marks from me is that they did not replace my original MINI Cooper Logo Chrome Tire Stem Valve Cap after refilling the tire. They replaced it with a cheap PLASTIC CAP. A new set of Mini Cooper Logo Chrome Valve caps costs $20 plus shipping and handling!!! Not sure if they lost it or kept it as a souvenir. But no one told me about the switch and I didn't think I needed to check for something like that. I trust when someone's fixing a tire with original parts that the original part ends up back on the tire being fixed! I didn't notice until a month or so later when I was checking the air in my tires. Way beyond the point of doing anything about it. I still get steamed thinking about this one but learned an important lesson to check for the valve stem caps after getting tire work done. I'm sort of torn weather I'd take my car there again. If I did, I would remove the valve stem caps before I took it in.

Everyone was friendly and it was good experience overall and I would definitely recommend them for general auto repair but not advanced issues as they didn't detect cause of the engine roughness.

I spent around $50 when I used them in October. I decided to use them because they had several reviews on the list and they had pretty good reviews. My experience with them was pretty good. They ended up only thatching my tire and I thought that I got charged a little bit extra for that, but they were very friendly during that whole process. I would tell others that I think that they are very good at replacing tires that are not necessarily built by them but other mechanics.

Good first time experience with Elite. They are not a full-service shop, but were able to diagnose and repair my brake line problem. My wife had originally brought the car to Pep Boys, which is literally right next door, but I am wary of them and their quote was very high and they couldn't do the job that day. Brought the car next door to Elite. One of their technicians stayed a little bit late to finish to the job the same day for me and the final bill was less than half of what Pep Boys quoted me. The service was friendly and I felt they were honest.

I had a great experience. I was honest about my concerns, and so they knew that I expected things to be wrong with the van. They could have replaced more things, and charged me more, but they were honest. They told me all that really needed to be done was the replacement of a broken belt. However, I also had the windshield wiper mechanism fixed. The price was reasonable, and they did not try to sell me repairs that I did not need. And it has been running much better with the new belt (obviously).

I called a number of places and i was pleasantly surprised by Elite's recommendations. Realizing that I have an older car they did not try to sell me top of the line tires. When I got they they took the car in and had the work done quickly. I al;os appreciate the fact that they did not try to push additional services like whyeel alignment.

They have done various things at various times. I really like the business. The person who runs the shop is very nice and he knows what he's doing. They're very competitive with their pricing.

What a great experience. My Mini dealer told me that they don't repair runflat tires and it would be $386 for a new tire. After doing some research I found that they can be repaired and located Elite on the list. I called them and he told me they can repair my tire for $50. I was able to get in the same day I called and the job was completed in the time he said it would take. I'm a happy gal.

Everything was done quickly and we were really impressed. I would recommend them to anyone. They have a great service and we were in and out. I am very pleased with the price and my overall experience. They are professional and hard working.

I've been to Rod many many times with two cars and I've been happy every time. He is very polite and calls me promptly after looking at the car to tell me what he thinks needs to be done and how much it will cost. He tells me what is optional for right now and what's not. He never talks to me like I'm dumb just because I'm female and has never given me cause to believe he did work that was unnecessary. He also always asks before doing any work, which is something all mechanics ought to do, but since they don't always do it I always appreciate it. The last time I took my car to him, he did all his checks and called me before 10:30 AM to give me the list of what needed to be done and what didn't. In this case it was brakes and four new tires, plus some transmission fluid work. The brakes were done and the car stopped shaking after the tires were replaced. Again he was polite as always.

Over these 25 years of working with Rod, he has consistently provided excellent customer service, taken excellent care of our cars, and has been straightforward as to what work was needed or not needed. When I have had urgent situations, he has ALWAYS been there for me, for which I am exceedingly grateful. I recommend Rod and Goodyear Tire and Auto (a/k/a Elite Tire) to anyone.
