The original pipes were in a "Y" arrangement.  In March I had water back up in my basement.  Central Rodding came out and dug up and replaced the pipe, my floor drain, and my laundry sink at the same time.  In June, I had back-up again and they realized they hadn't gone far enough the first time, so the other side of the "Y" was dug up and replaced.  The current pipes are better quality (the originals were over 50 years old).  They dug up as little as possible of the floor, removed all the old cement, replaced the pipes, and put in new cement.  It was messy, but both times they cleaned up very well after themselves.  I've had other work done by Central Rodding and trust their work.  They also do regular plumbing work, too, besides the rodding.
