Swift Plumbing & Home Remodeling has been in business since 2004. We have 7 plumbing trucks and a commercial building located in Fairview Heights, Illinois. We do give senior & military discounts. I am a Marine Corp veteran & a Life Member with the VFW. We belong to the Better Business Bureau, as well as the Chamber of Commerce. Swift Plumbing & Home Remodeling has been given its fourth consecutive Plumbing Contractor award in 2014.

We have used Swift for our home and our sons home with no problem, however, everytime we call them to go to our business in a neighboring area they cancel at the last minute. Today they called and said they need to cancel and move to another day and OH by the way there will be a $75 fee to just give a bid. They didn't do this with our other places. Could they be RED LINING certain areas??? Is this Legal?

It went outstanding. It was great working with Dylan. He assessed the situation and fixed the problem. I added to the project because of his honesty. There's nothing that compares to finding an honest upfront company. I plan on using their services again in the near future. I strongly recommend this company. 10 Star rating if I could give it.

Dane came out on 19 February (on or about) looked at the job told me he'd write up a quote. The job would require work on the wall so he needed to contact a carpenter. a few weeks went by and i contacted Dane and he said he'd have the estimate to me soon. It's 18 March and still nothing. Going with someone else to do the job.

Dane was very professional, punctual & showed up on time. He completed the three jobs quickly - all were completed in about 30 minutes. There were no parts or materials needed. I was stunned when the bill came to $364 for 30 minutes of work. He explained that Swift Plumbing no longer does work on a time and material basis, they now use the "book" price. The book price was $196 for the drain and $74 for each of the two toilet adjustments. I felt completely taken advantage of and won't use this company again.

I talked with several plumbers before I went with Swift. I talked with Roy from Swift and he was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. He didn’t try to sell me anything extra, showed me how to perform some basic maintenance, and was cheaper than anyone else. They do give a veterans discount as well. I will go with Swift fo all my future plumbing needs.

Recently my 60 year old cast iron sewer line broke in my crawlspace, which also went under the garage floor.  I knew this was going to be a major job to fix, due to the sewer line going through the crawlspace wall and underneath the garage floor.  The employees from Swift Plumbing were very professional and knew exactly what to do.  They worked for 2.5 days to complete the job and everything went very well.

Mr. Swift came exactly when he said he would, removed my toilet and vanity. Repaired the pipes in my wall, put every thing back and cleaned up after himself. He finished within the time he had estimated.

Provider took care of all the issues I had.  He even went to pick up items that needed to be replaced.  The toilet and sink were very easy things to take care of but the time taken along with the initial service call was a bit high on price, to me.  I have this provided check the back flow of the sprinkler system each year, as required by the state.  He is always very timely with this and takes care of the paperwork as well.  Very good provider.

 Since this is an older house some parts were not available anymore and had to be built by cutting and basically made to fit. The owner came out this time as the regular man was sick. He did a great job and the tub works properly now when the shower is engaged. Luke also did a good job the first time I needed a job done. The receptionist and the workers were friendly and helpful and courteous. The area was cleaned up on both visits and they covered the work area and used shoe covers.
 I would use them again. Don't know what happened with the F rating above, but that was not my experience at all.

He was scheduled to come out and replace our main water shutoff valve
that was stuck open.  It was being handled through our home warranty
company.  He came out to the house a week or 2 before-hand to look at
the valve and see what had to be done to fix it.  Then after scheduling
the appointment, nobody ever came.  After he missed the scheduled
window, I called their office and a lady answered the phone.  She told
me that she couldn't get a hold of him either and that she didn't know
why he never showed up.  I called again later that afternoon to cancel,
and all she could say was that she was sorry for my inconvenience. 
After that day, I never got a call from them to apologize or to try and
reschedule.
I didn't rate on their quality of work because I have no idea how it is since he didn't do any work.

They came out Friday evening after hours for the standard rate and diagnosed the problem and removed the bad element and ordered the part and had it up and running Monday morning. I have used them three times for various work and they do a great job.
