Rob arrived on time, inspected the door and opener, lubricated the rollers and springs and adjusted the opener. No sales pitch. Courteous and thorough.

The garage door was fixed very quickly and I was very happy but the door continue to have a dragging. I called the garage company out again and they did a oily of the springs in the balls and it went up and down and it worked for them pretty good where they were here but the next day and every since then it still drags. I didn't call him back but I've never been quite happy.

During record breaking windchill lows my garage door decided not to close. This is definitely a problem as my garage door is attached to my home. I called this company and explained the problem and they said they would be there in a couple of hours. They came on time, fixed the issues, and lubed the garage door. I really appreciate them coming out on such a cold day!

The unit was replace. I got a tune up. The door closes a lot quieter now , I received a free remote. I am very satisfied.The owner made a followup visit to make sure I was satisfied. If my second unit goes out, I will call them back.

Two visits were required because of the nature of the garage door opener pad. Bob, the repairman tried several types of devices, which were unsuccessful. He then returned one week later, having ordered the special part for the opener. I had a pet emergency, which required that I  might not be present when he arrived so I had left him a note and the service door unlocked. However, we both arrived at the same time, and he was able to install the new membrane pad and instruct me on its use. He even oiled the garage overhead door! All in less than 1/2 hour. Bob was/is great!!

Excellent experience.  Bobby G came a little later than expected but called to alert us as to the delayed time frame.  He removed the old garage door opener without any problems.  He installed the new garage door opener without any problems and explained all the functions and technology.  He even guided us on how to obtain the proper device to enable our car garage door openers to work (as they were not compatible with the new garage door opener).  Completely satisfied.

Called Wm H Wood Overhead Door Service on Monday, 12/12/2011, for repair service on our existing overhead garage door which had fallen off the rails. They told me they would be out the next day between 10am & 12pm. The technician (Bob G)arrived when they said they would and had everything he needed to perform the repair. He adjusted, lubricated, & installed 2 support brackets that where not present when the door was originally installed. He was very professional and his work was excellent. I would definately use them again.

Work was done on short notice, quickly and carefully.  Whole system was adjusted and lubricated so that it runs much more smoothly.  Second visit was made to correct limit switch problem at no cost. 

They had a lot of expertise. This is what they do. It’s a fair business and they have been doing it for a long time. They clearly knew their stuff. They came back when we had minor issues with the door and they did a very good job. So we don’t have any issues now. They were very responsive. They were very professional and did their stuff. I didn’t have any problems with them. It was an emergency sort of a situation. That’s why we needed service right away and they came out very promptly. I wouldn’t be able to comment on their price because I don’t know how reasonable it was compared to the other companies. We would use their services in the future too.

I called because I couldn't use my remote to open my garage door. He just had to move something out of the sensors way. They did charge me a $150.00 service fee to do this. The man who came to do the work was very nice though.

When I reported to my home warranty company that my garage door was inoperative, I got such a run around that I finally canceled the service order and went to my Angie's List account. Contacted this company for an estimate; priced around, then finally called them back to accept their estimate and schedule a service appointment. As promised, someone called the morning of the scheduled appointment, the service person arrived within the time window promised and went right to work. He explained everything while he worked and then proceeded to correct some loose wiring in the garage door opener. After the frustration with the warranty company, I will cancel their contract and always just go straight to Angie's List for reliable service. Thanks so much.

In January 2003 I had WM H Wood install a new garage door, and in February 2006 they repaired my old garage door opener. In both cases I was very pleased with the price and service I received. So when my old garage door opener wasn't working well any more I didn't shop around, I just called WM H Wood again. Once again I was very pleased with their service. They came out to install the new opener the day after I called them. The service man was courteous and quick. After about a week I had a problem with the new opener not working correctly. They came to my house to correct the problem within 1 hour! The second serviceman was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

A home inspector let us know that the closing force of our garage door was a safety hazard. Both the inspector and the original installer of the door (Wm H Wood) thought that we would need a $400 ''conversion kit'' to allow for the adjustment of the closing force of the door. We called out Wm H Wood to take care of the problem. Turned out that the closing force of the door was set too high. So, the service person turned a little knob and declared the problem fixed. We tested it and indeed it was fixed. The service person was a little sheepish in telling us that he would need to charge us his basic service call charge ($94.80) for this two minutes of work, but I don't suppose I can blame him for it. And it was much less than the $400 we had expected to spend to fix the problem. Bottom line is, a 20 year old door, that they installed is still working great.

I called them the day before because the remotes were stolen. I needed to change them immediately. They arrived at my house on time, worked very quickly and was very professional.

I CALLED THEM AT 9AM ALL FLUSTERED, BECAUSE I COULD NOT CLOSE MY GARAGE DOOR. THEY HAD SOMEONE AT MY HOUSE BY 10AM!!! IT WAS WORKING WITHIN 20 MINUTES AND NOW GOES UP AND DOWN SMOOTHER THAN EVER.

I CALLED ON SATURDAY AND THEY CAME OUT ON WEDNESDAY AS SCHEDULED. THEY RECOMMENDED HEAVIER-DUTY SPRINGS FOR ONLY A MODEST INCREASE IN PRICE.
