MLS were great to work with.  Good communication between Matt and myself.  They were there when they said they would be and cleaned up the area around the house when they were done.  I have a little more work to be done on the outside and will be calling them again in the spring.

MLS gave a reasonable price and Matt did a nice job of reassuring us through the process. He communicated clearly and was patient with us as we were going through the insurance process. MLS included a lot of the little touches to finish the job even though they hadn't explicitly been stated in the contract. Although the project went a day longer than I think they had planned, MLS didn't try to seek additional compensation, and they completed the project in a prompt manner and didn't leave anything lingering or hanging as some contractors do. When we had a few things that looked off aesthetically, the crew foreman responded and corrected them promptly to our satisfaction. They also did a good job of cleaning up and were mindful of my landscape.
I got a new roof, siding, and oversize gutters within the insurance estimator's price guidelines, so I'm thrilled I didn't have to shoulder the financial burden personally, but I believe that MLS provided a fair value proposition. It was clear from the beginning that they weren't out to gouge me. I got another estimate with 4 different pricepoints from another contractor based on materials and warranty, but even the lowest price option was $4k above the MLS estimate (which is what I ended up paying in the end). 
I am the kind of guy who would prefer to do my own repairs, but this is definitely one I am glad I left to the professionals. I would definitely  work with Matt and MLS again in the future if I had another reason to.
