LEAHY TO THE RESCUE! Jim Leahy showed up 11AM sharp as promised and fixed our unit quickly for a great price.

Called on Wed and work was done the following Monday . Thought it would take longer because it was in the 90's but not so.

November 18, 2016 call went very well, showed me how to keep the furnace going until he came back and on 11 /23/16 at which time a rebuilt motor was installed to keep the furnace working until he can return to install new furnace. Returned all my calls in a timely manner. Very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.

We have needed a new furnace for years.  Every year or two ours stops working.  We call Leahy and they manage to fix it.  Most of these breakdowns happen during the coldest part of winter at night.  They come out right away and fix the problem.  Actually our furnace has stopped again and I'm getting ready to give them another call.  I can't recommend them enough.

The Leahy people have always been good to us. We moved into this house knowing we had a very old boiler. We had them come every year to maintain it and check things over and it's lived a longer life I believe because of their good judgment.

This season was the first time we've had to call with any sort of emergency and they have always been there very quickly. Not a lot of people understand these systems so he's constantly busy in the winter. But he's always great about calling and letting me know when he can come, he'll trouble-shoot over the phone with me (free of charge), and he's come over quite a few times without charge to get it running again all because we've used them to maintain the heater.

We will of course have to get a new boiler and I dread this. But the Leahy people have made this much easier on us and we will no doubt have them do the work.

Called on a very cold day with the temp in the house falling, and was provided with some preliminary simple instructions to see if I could get the boiler to fire without a service call. Really appreciated. Service was required. They arrived an hour later, quickly determined the problems and repaired at a reasonable cost. Greg also provided recommendation on issue that could be taken care of at a later date.

I am very surprised that I do not see my prior review about Leahy Heating/cooling on Angie's list.It sure appears to be deleted.I am wondering if this information has been deliberately compromised and why.If this is the case - I question the integrity of Angie's list..

I have used this company to repair my furnaces in my own home and in an apartment building I own (total 3 furnaces). Each time they were able to fix the problem at a reasonable price and did a great job. I have used this company about 4 times in the last 8 years.I also feel they are very trustworthy. We were in Mexico on vacation when our furnace went out in the apartment building. I had tenants who were freezing (0 degrees and snowy out!) with children. We called Leahy and they were able to go out to fix the furnace. They were very understanding and helped us deal with this since we were not coming back for several days. I was nervous about giving my credit card info to them without knowing what it would cost, but at the time we did not have any options. Furnace was fixed, tenants happy and warm and a charge of $150 for everything. That is pretty reasonable and we were thrilled. They have always responded and fixed the problem within 48 hrs of contacting them. They have also explained what the problem is and ways to prevent future problems. I recommend this company and will continue to use them in the future if needed.

I give Leahy an A+. They were great to work, honest and I highly recommend them !!!!!!!!
