I had to have some concrete raised, Ken came out and quoted me a reasonable price for the size of the job. All the other waterproofing companies quotes were extremely high. Ken explained what had to be done and answered any questions I had. I'm extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend them for the job.

Freddie Koning came out and did an addition step checking seepage and save me thousands of dollars. He made a senior's pocket very happy. I think him and his partner gave excellent customer service. I reached out to get a better understanding of whether I needed to caulk the side of my home as I noticed some gaps. Lots of clear communication along the way and the technician (Freddy) was on time and polite. Freddy was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the various options I had and even provided his own suggestion based on his experience. There was NO pressure to hire them so that made me feel at ease. It turned out I didn’t need to do anything just yet but I could call back if anything changed. I definitely recommend this company.

I wish all the contractors on this basement project were as good to deal with as Family Waterproofing. Throughout the whole process, communication was good. Ken the owner was responsive and patient in answering all my questions and addressing concerns. They prepared a detailed contract of all work to be performed, and did what they said they would. I like that they did an exploratory dig after signing the contract to make sure we had a solid plan and avoid any surprises during installation. There was an area under the basement stairs and an old cistern that required a creative solution. They came up with a solid plan that didn't add extra cost. I asked them to pour some extra concrete under the stairs which wasn't included in the contract, which they did for a good price. The crew was friendly and had a good natured camaraderie on the job. The overall cost was very fair and we received great service and quality. They are honest, care about their customers and want you to be happy. Now I'm looking forward to a big rain!

It went great. They worked quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up their mess but the best part was they were very reasonable. I would recommend them to everyone.

This company is by far the best I have ever seen, dealt with or heard of for waterproofing solutions! After many years of a leaky basement that had been touched by the big name guys multiple times, Ken came out and provided solutions that would solve the real problem once and for all. We had multiple quotes and Family Waterproofing was by far the lowest cost (more than 1/2) and had backed up their work with a real warranty. The total quality of workmanship was outstanding and this repair team did not rush and paid attention to every detail. The repair was perfect and they were very careful not to mess up the inside of the house and cleaned up everything as if they were not there. Do not let this low price fool you, their quality is much better than the other guys because they don't have this huge overhead and charge you for all of the commercials like the other guys. They did everything they said they would and for the original price quoted. You could not hire a more pleasant, honest, quality company to deal with than these guys.

I noticed water seepage in my basement crawlspace. I gave family water proofing a call and within the hour Ken gave me a call and came out to repair the cracks in my foundation. He also found that my gutter in the area that I had a water issue was slipped incorrectly which was very helpful. I will definitely refer him to clients, friends, and family in the future.

Excellent! John Doig was called ahead of time and let us know he may come closer to the latter part of the one and half hour time window. He did come as promised and inspected the now dry spot in the basement where water had seeped a couple of weeks ago. He asked several questions such as 1) how long we have lived in the house 2) Has water ever seeped in the basement 3) what is the age of the sump pump 4) Was there significant rainfall on the day of the seepage etc. Based on our answers he concluded that it might have been a one time occurrence. He suggested we should call him if it ever happens again.

Everything was perfect. Timely response and appraisal of our needed repair. I had gotten another quote from a well advertised provider. There was a substantial price difference. The men showed up on time and performed the repairs quickly and answered all questions as they worked. I chose to wait a period of time after severe heavy rains to leave a review of the work. I can't rate this company highly enough. Very pleased.

Ken came out to assess the problem and assured me it was fixable. He quoted me a reasonable fee and was very friendly and professional. Rob was out to do the job a couple of days later. He was prompt and quick! The crack was sealed and I have not had a problem since.

The job was finished poorly. When the owner finally came out to view the work he told me that they are not concrete workers and that they couldn't not finish the job to our satisfaction. He suggested refunding our money and removing their system. We accepted his offer and the very next day he declined his offer.

Ken came for the initial consultation. He was very helpful. Explained everything and answered all our questions. And asked many times if we had any questions. Rob was the foreman for the work crew. He had us come look at what was being done each step of the way. They put in steel beams with footings under the beams and attached the top to the beams in the ceiling joists. This was to shore up the bowing wall. They also put in drain tiles and a sump pump to get the water away from the house. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. I will definitely pass their name on to anyone who needs work done. And we would hire them again!!

Excellent company to deal with - initially contacted regarding water in the basement. Recommended installation of drain tiles indoors but after several months of no further occurrences, agreed with our assessment that the issue had been adequately dealt with outside of the house. Requested a revised quotation to replace the existing sump pump with a new heavy duty model and a brand new backup system. Would not hesitate to do business with them again.

They are excellent. They have good ideas, good service, and good prices.
