Upon walk-in, my question was promptly addressed. Less than twenty minutes later I had my watch back on my arm. It was repaired quickly, professionally and with courtesy. And at a great price! I would definitely recommend Virag Jewelers and will definitely use them for any future watch repairs. In fact, I have a classic wind-up wall clock and when that needs its next cleaning, I'll bring it to Virag Jewelers.

Fine. They were professional. Make the repair. Were on time. Cost was fair...don't remember details.

They fixed both watches within a matter of 15 minutes, and they were very affordable. Another jeweler had told me that one of the watches was not fixable. One they replaced the battery, and the other one they repaired.

An old family brooch had a loosened clasp. Based on Angie's List reviews I stopped into Virag with the brooch. It was fixed perfectly while I waited. No charge! Very friendly people. I wasn't in the mood to jewelry shop - but they had a lot of beautiful things for sale.

Great for replacing watch batteries--and extremely honest! I own about 6 or 8 watches and I've had a few watch batteries replaced here over the years. With that many watches I don't really keep track of how long the batteries last. Whenever a couple of my watches are out of juice I get the batteries replaced. Last weekend I went to Virag to have a couple of batteries replaced. After they replaced the two batteries, the guy told me his records show that Virag had replaced one of the batteries about a year ago, which is weird because batteries should last five years. He said this means either that something's wrong with the watch or they installed a defective battery a year ago. So... he did not charge me for one of the new batteries and encouraged me to keep an eye on the watch that might have something wrong with it. I don't keep track of when I replace my watch batteries. So I had no idea I had replaced it so recently. I was amazed that they (a) keep track of such details, (b) owned up to the possibility that it might have been a defective battery a year ago, and (c) volunteered to gave me a free replacement just in case it was defective. As far as I'm concerned, that's about as honest and as customer-focused as you can get.

These jewelers have been in Evanston for ages, and they do great work. No attempts at upsale! Also, they replaced a watch battery--again, very quickly, and gave me some extra info about my watch.

It went very well. I was able to have the functionality of my watch restored without having to make a return trip to the store. During the process I was treated in a very professional and polite manner.

I find this jewelry store a little jewel for repairing jewelry. They are very pleasant, very professional and knowledgeable. There craftsmanship is excellent. I've used them in the past and really found their work top class. They also did engraving that turned out very nice. I would highly recommend them for any of your jewelry need. They also sell jewelry that looks very nice, however I have not purchased any.

My husband's watch wasn't keeping time properly. He went into Virag and they changed the battery and adjusted the winder while he waited. Very nice people, quick service, reasonable priced, highly recommended.

It went very well. All of the work was done promptly during one visit. I was willing to purchase a new band for both watches, but the conscientious personnel at Virag suggested that they could simply add a few links to the existing band. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the genuine concern for my satisfaction that I experienced during this process. Both watches now look better than ever. They are also considerably more comfortable to wear then they were before I had these repairs done.
