SPARKLE CLEANERS

The pricing is reasonable but I have had issues with punctuality.  On several occasions Sparkle Cleaners failed to make the planned drop off at our building on the scheduled day.  When I asked the owner why his service had not delivered my dry cleaning as promised, I was told that they had delivered my dry cleaning to the wrong office building and that I would need to wait for them to move my cleaning to the correct building on the next scheduled delivery day.   In this case it is currently Friday, there will be a holiday on Monday so I will not receive my dry cleaning until the following Tuesday or possibly Wednesday which translates to 4 or 5 days late.
The owner offered that I could pick-up my dry cleaning in the other office building, which I attempted to do (our office buildings are located 1/2 mile apart) but for security reasons my employee ID card only remits access to the dry cleaning room for the building that I work in.  After unsuccessfully spending 30 minutes of my time trying to retrieve my dry cleaning from  the other building, I called back the owner and requested that he provide an explanation for the missed deliveries and deliver my cleaning as promised explaining that missed deliveries had occurred on multiple occasions.  The owner was irritated by my request for a reason for the missed deliveries then raised his voice and stated, "IT HAPPENS."   All said and after considerable pleading on my part, the owner did agree to return to our office building and make the delivery on the day initially promised. 
Since you cannot always depend on the day your clothes will be returned to you I generously rate the service with an average rating.  The professionalism of the owner is questionable but I would certainly up my overall rating for the service if I actually receive my most recent order as promised as well as receive future deliveries on time and to the correct office building location.

I went here to get my pants hemmed and I asked the man to tell me how much he charged for the service. He asked what I had and what I needed done so I told him. Instead of giving me the cost to let me decide, he just rang it up and handed me a ticket for the date I could pick it up and price that reflected $60. Granted, I could have still opted out, but I sort of felt obliged to leave them since he had already rang up the order. Had he told me it was going to be $10 per pair, I would have chosen to go somewhere else, but it seemed a little too late for that without suffering some embarrassment. Nonetheless, when I picked up the pants they were ready and they were all very professionally hemmed. I was completely satisfied with the work they performed, I was just a little stunned by the cost of it.

Efficient, friendly, and professional service. Very rare problems resolved promptly in customer's favor.

I did have a language barrier with this team. I was trying to communicate with them about the cleaning products that I have. They used their own. Next time, I use them I'll use their office to communicate with them. They were diligent and did a thorough job.

The shirt was done expertly and altered exactly where I requested. Sparkle Cleaners has also altered some vintage clothes with a great deal of knowledge about sewing on vintage clothes. The owner used to work for a large clothing company in New York cutting fabric. The staff is unfailingly polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about fabrics. After finishing an alteration they ask that the customer to try it on and tell them if the alteration is satisfactory. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the work. I have been happy, as well, with their laundry and cleaning.
