Nick did a fantastic job.  He fixed a leak in the shower, resealed everything, and fixed some damaged tiles both inside and outside the shower.  Then entire thing looked brand new when he was done.  When I told him I didn't have any extra of the original tiles, he looked under the  vanity in the bathroom, found some of the original tile under it, and used that.  Great work quality and real creative problem-solver.  I'll use Nick again in the future.

It went really well.The results look great. We were able to reuse most of the components of the bathroom instead of having to buy new everything. The shower area had to get ripped back to the studs. We retiled the shower but opted not to replace all the tile on the walls of the rest of the room and instead returned them to plasterboard and paint. We tiled the floor. It took a little longer than I had hoped but a lot of the delay was because the sink top was custom made, took a few weeks, and Nick and crew had other things going by the time it was  ready. All in all I felt like the work was done really well, Nick managed the scheduling well and was a good guy to work with and provided helpful advise and choices. Only complaint is that he over sold how "like new" the old fixtures would look. That isn't much to complain about.

Nick is as good as it gets.  Luck of the draw, we had the shower leak (probably more than one) that wouldn't go away.  Nick was remarkably attentive and made sure to do what was needed to get the job done. He's a true professional and shows a lot of character in the way he conducts business. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thanks very much!

It went very well.  Everything was done in an orderly fashion. Nick Lawson was very pleasant to have around. He knew what had to be done and everything came out well with no problems.  This was the second time I used him and I would call him again if I had any problems with my shower, and would certainly recommend him to anyone that needed this kind of work.

Nick was terrific to work with.  He gave us a fair estimate, was on time and even called as he was approaching to let us know he was minutes away.  The work he did repaired a major issue that involved water from our shower seeping down the walls and ruining the ceiling of the room below.  Nick also cleaned up after himself, was very careful doing his work and it didn't even look like he was here after he had left.  He is a pleasure to work with and we would recommend him to anyone.  Search no more, Nick is your man!

Our shower was leaking from our bathroom on to the porch below.  I had Nick give me an estimate for this work a year ago, but never got around to getting the repair done.  Finally, after avoiding the leaky shower for a full year we decided to pull the trigger.  Nick remembered the shower and was able to start work almost right away.  He was very friendly (even with my "helpful" 3 year old son) and is a great conversationalist.  The work was done efficiently, and the work site was clean after every visit so we could continue to use the rest of the bathroom.  Since his work the shower has been perfect and the entire experience was terrific.  Highly recommended.

Overall, great experience with Shower Repair, LLC.  I called Shower Repair for a quote on the work I needed on my shower wall....loose tiles along with damaged/wet drywall behind those loose tiles. They answered the call on my first try, very friendly and quickly set up an appointment for the next few days. Nick came out and took a look at the damaged area. He was very friendly, professional and seemed direct and honest about what needed to be done. He showed me how though there were only a few tiles that had fallen, there was a bigger area of water damage behind the tiles by knocking on the surrounding area and indicating the hollow sound.  We discussed 3 different options: 1) repairing the damaged area only  2) replacing all the tile/cement sheeting in the entire shower area  and 3) removing all the tiles in the entire bathroom. new tile in the shower area and install drywall in the remaining area of the bathroom where the other tile was. He said he would send a quote out within 2 days. As promised, I received a detailed quote 2 days later with pricing for each one of the options we discussed. I decided to go with the repair option and Nick said that would take 2 days so we scheduled the work for the following week. The repair quote said Nick would clean the existing tiles and re-install. I decided I would supply him with new tiles for this area instead.Nick came out that following Thursday and began tearing out the old tiles and backing board, etc. New tile was in place by the end of his first day but that was the only indication that he was there. Otherwise, he left the bathroom immaculate....no dust, debris, old backing board, etc. Nick came back for the second day to grout, caulk and seal joints and the job was complete. Looked absolutely beautiful and new and completely no mess at all.  He was also very friendly and patient with my dog/supervisor of the bathroom project.  Very impressed with Nick and Shower Repair. He gave me the best quote, felt comfortable having him in my home, did a beautiful job, had a professional attitude and I believe may have left my bathroom cleaner than he found it.  I highly recommend Shower Repair and I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

Very happy with his work and the price.  He even caulked around my sink (which needed it) without me asking him to.  Very nice and helpful guy.  He was also very good about confirming appointment (phone follow-up).

Even though he was late (about an hour), he was apologetic. The price was right and the job was excellent. He was friendly too.

Nick was prompt in returning my call for an estimate.  He came to the house to look at the job and provided a written estimate within 24 hours via email.  Nick came at the designated time calling 30 minutes before to alert me of his arrival.  

Nick is so fast and efficient when it comes to removing old caulk and re-caulking that there really isn't any reason to do it yourself. He even saw some caulking that I had done on my sink/backsplash and he tore it out and re-did it without me asking and at no extra charge. Before putting in the new caulk he properly cleans the surface with acetone to ensure that the caulk properly bonds with the surface. Further, he left no mess after the work was complete. No question he will be my go to guy for future projects like this.

He was great. He was very efficient and friendly and he did a great job. Nick Lawson is the person that came out and he was very friendly and professional and I felt very comfortable with him. I spent somewhere between $500 and $600 for that service. The projects went well overall.

Went well. I wanted the work performed quickly, so I emailed him pics of my shower stall. His quoted price remained the same--no nickel and diming me. I wanted to fix the shower, without an expensive remodel. This fit the bill. He came at 8 and left at 4. His price included materials.

Nick is an affable Aussie who is passionate about his work. We have had this work done several times; each time, the grout yellows quickly - particularly in the steam shower. So far, so good. Things look as bright and clean as the day he completed the work. Nick is a busy, one-man business. But once he's on the job, he's the best.

I thought that the work was well done. He was a really nice guy to deal with. He started the job quickly and stayed committed to a time and finished it. There were a lot of follow-ups to be done and fix a few things, and we had to call him for a number of times. He was apologetic when he did come, and he finished the job soon. I had to make three to four calls for him to respond.

What began as a positive experience with Nick Lawson ended badly. Originally we consulted with Nick to repair a shower floor that had developed a leak. We ended up hiring him to re-tile a second shower as well. He did all the work himself except for the installation of the toilet, where he brought in two plumbers. His work hours were not conventional--sometimes he would show up late in the afternoon and work into the evening. This didn't really bother me. But then his behavior became more erratic. Toward the end of the job he was working late into the evening and then discovered that the caulk, which was out in his truck, had frozen (it was December). So he was unable to finish the job that night, and he was about to leave for vacation the next day. We agreed he could finish it when he came back,though it meant my bathroom would be unusable while he was on vacation. He never came back to finish the job, though I had (foolishly) paid him him full.
