Cary was professional, straightforward, and honest. He educated me throughout his inspection so that I had all the information from which to make decisions. When the developer misrepresented the completeness of their work (and Cary arrived for inspection), he did not charge a fee for coming (although he couldn't inspect at that time) until the developer paid for the costs of the misrepresentation. I'd highly recommend.

Cary arrived promptly and was very thorough. He spend 5+ hours, which according to my realtor was much longer than most inspections. Cary spent that time thoroughly examining the whole house and explaining all his findings in detail to us. Our realtor and the seller's realtor were there and offered thoughts and suggestions, but it was clear that Cary was focusing on my husband and me and really put our questions and needs first. The report was detailed and even included images and suggestions for how repairs could be made.

Cary is amazing, I say this in all seriousness. The guy knows his stuff, and is extremely passionate about what he does. Throughout the inspection he took the time to explain everything is detail, I learned a lot. He was very thoughtful and I felt very taken care of. By the end of the inspection, I felt like my wife and I already had a plan. When I received the report I couldn't believe the time he invested in it. There were fantastic pictures, going into every little detail, and providing such great recommendations on how to remedy every little issue. Again, I feel like we have a plan, a check list to go by. While the amount of items were extensive, his details have made the remediation efforts much easier. All of the skilled laborers I have contacted have admired the detail of the report. I cannot recommend Cary enough!!! Be prepared to invest a few hours with him, but it is WELL WORTH IT!!! You will learn a ton, and feel confident in your potential purchase.

The house was vintage and had structural issues. Without going into details the inspection took over 5 hours (instead of 3), the inspector was impatient and rude to the agent, and took long to sent the report.

Identified numerous non-obvious issues and this allowed me to get a significant credit at closing.

Cary is very knowledgeable and friendly. He knows a lot about houses and takes the time to tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. His final report, which comes via email, gives a prospective home buyer more tools that allows them to be better informed before making decisions. His inspection pointed out things that would have cost me thousands had I proceeded without his consultation. His services are highly recommended.

Cary Seidner did a phenomenal job inspecting the home we were planning to (and did) purchase.  He was extremely thorough and looked at everything that he could.  He was also very organized and professional.  He explained everything that he was going to do before he did it as well as the paperwork before he began.  During the inspection, which took about 1 1/2 hr. longer than the real estate brokers expected, Cary explained everything that he was finding in detail.  I'm not particularly handy, so he explained it to me in ways I could understand.  My real estate broker was duly impressed with how detailed and thorough Seidner was.
After completing the inspection, he provided a really impressive, detailed report with photographs explaining each problem or potential issue.  We provided that report to the seller's to negotiate a further reduction in the sales price.
I recently contacted an electrician to whom I showed the Electrical Systems part of Seidner's report, and the licensed, professional electrician concurred with everything Seidner identified.
Seidner was, throughout the process, very pleasant and easy to deal with.  He scheduled the inspection very quickly.
Seidner is probably a hundred or two hundred dollars more expensive than other home inspectors, but he's well worth it given how thorough he is and what a great report he generates.

Cary was smart, detailed, professional and exactly what we needed. We were purchasing a very old home as-is and needed to know what we were in for. He spent 7 hours combing every detail of the property -- including a host of issues we never even would have known to ask about -- and gave us a detailed report that let us know everything that would need to be addressed. He was so knowledgeable and so thorough and by far the best inspector we have ever worked with. We would recommend him to anyone who needs an inspector, particularly for older homes or As-Is homes where you really need to know every possible pitfall before going through with the deal. We are very grateful for his expertise, time and professionalism and will be using his very thorough list as a guide for the repairs we need to make to bring our old home back to its former glory.

Cary Seidner is an excellent inspector.  He is incredibly smart, detailed, knowledgeable, and professional.  He spent over 5 hours inspecting our house and pointed out many things, both large and small.  He is not an alarmist about any of the problems, but he wanted to ensure that we had complete information about the home. He made sure we understood every issue he identified. And he identified issues that I'm sure other inspectors would've missed. He truly has the best interest of the buyer in mind during the inspection. He even stayed in close contact with us after the inspection to follow up on issues that had arisen during the inspection.  I cannot say enough good things about Cary.  Hire him!  You will be happy you did.

Cary was extremely detail oriented and left no stones unturned.  He explained everything he looked at and all of his findings throughout the inspection.  His report was very detailed.  We felt as though he found everything he could possibly find wrong with this home, which is what we hired him to do.  We were happy with his service.  He does charge more than many other inspectors but we feel his service is also superior to most other services.

Cary was extremely professional. We were in a crunch to get an inspection done during the attorney review and he was able to schedule a time on a Saturday to come out.  The inspection took four hours and was very thorough.  He explained all that he was doing and kept us informed as he went through the process.  Answered all of our questions in a very professional manner.  I would highly recommend him to friends.

Cary was excellent. He is extremely thorough and detailed which is a must for this type of profession. I called Cary on a Monday and asked him to help us with a home inspection that Friday. He was very accomodating and was able to fit us in. I told him it was my birthday and on the inspection day he brought me treats, which was very thoughtful. Cary spent about 4 hours on the inspection and walked and talked us through everything he was doing. We also asked him to have the report done by Sunday and he sent it to us as he promised and it was very thorough. Because of all of his due diligence we were able to collect an extra $3000 from the sellers for repairs to the property. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

He charged me a heavy price and didn’t even fix his mistakes that he made.  I didn’t like his service.

Cary was very helpful and explained the process on the phone and quoted an exact price based on an actual inquiry of our needs. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but we feel we got our money's worth.
  He fit us in over the next couple days and conducted a extensive inspection, taking his time and explaining various situations to us. He took the time to patiently answer all our questions, and was very clear about the magnitude and the category of issues he pointed out. A few things were major, some safety hazards and a lot of suggestions for things that might need attention in the long run. We feel that his report informed our buying decision, but just as importantly, gave us a road map for near and long-term maintenance needs.
  He provided a very thorough and well-organized inspection report in a timely fashion that included pictures of everything he noted in the report. Cary offered to talk over anything in the report we wanted further information on. We have referenced this report several times as we've worked with contractors and trades people in the following months, most of whom have had very similar opinions to the issues pointed out by Cary. As first time owner of a house, we feel confident with the report and appreciate someone taking the time to educate us along the way.

Cary was great in explaining all the different aspects of the inspection in words I could understand.  Not being a particularly "handy" person myself I was a bit anxious about purchasing a house.  But Cary went over the entire property and explained things as we went.  Because he assured me of the report to come I was able to focus on his words and not try to keep notes. After the 3 plus hours I felt I had a good understanding of the property and the things to be attended to.  The report was very clear and I know I will use it for years to come as I work through the small and not so small issues with the house I am buying.  As others have said, I feel comfortable calling him should I have a question about his report.  Would definitely recommend him to anyone with a piece of property to be inspected.  And to top it all off he has the technology to process credit card payments right on site and e-mail a receipt.  A very nice touch.   

He did the walkthrough with my realtor for both properties. A couple things were overlooked and I think this is due to the fact that I was not present for the inspection. Other than that, the inspection went well.

Whole inspection was done in 40 minutes. and we rec'd report next day.

Cary is definitely the one we would recommend to our friends. He is so thorough and knowledgeable. He paid attention to every single detail through the long process. He caught many critical issues, some of which others may not be able to see. He communicated well with us in the whole process and he was so patient to explain all the details for all the questions we have.
We are also satisfied with his inspection report. His report categorized the issues well as major deficiencies, safety hazards, recommendation, etc. The report included all the details with pictures for every issues found. Also, for every issue, he gave the suggested actions.
