Remake Architecture

We loved working with Remake Architecture for our South Evanston home renovation. Sylvia showed enthusiasm and care for our little house and made the entire experience accessible and positive. She used creative solutions to design an efficient, organized space that reflects our family and brings us joy every day. Remake Architecture continued their involvement once construction began, responding to questions from the contractor and assisting with permits. Thanks to Remake, we revived a 130-year-old house and have fond memories of the process.

Sylvia was absolutely the right architect for our master bath remodel project. She combined a good eye for design with efficiency and a practical, down-to-earth approach. Not least for us, she was knowledgeable and committed to planning the most environmentally positive project possible. We would hire her again without question.

Our experience with Sylvia Wooller of Remake Architecture was superb . We had to submit architectural drawings to the city of Evanston so that we could remove and replace our rotting Front Porch. Our 1896 Victorian home is in the historic district of Evanston and the city required that we preserve the existing architecture of the porch. We had one meeting with Sylvia - she knew exactly what was needed by the city in order to get this project approved. That meeting plus a few simple phone calls was all it took for Sylvia to create the drawings for us. The drawings were accepted by the city and we moved forward with the project. Sylvia's charge was very competitive and we would definitely recommend Sylvia to anyone looking for an architect in this area.
