OSCAR ISBERIAN RUGS

The cleaning was fine but no repairs had been done when I picked it up...although they charged for it. When I pointed this out, a VERY RUDE older man reluctantly agreed that the work had not been done and they would complete the job. What I got back was a raft of excuses and a ruined rug. The stitching was poor, the thread that was used apparently was not the correct shade so it had been, essentially, painted to cover that up. I have since taken the rug to another oriental rug shop and they have done some remedy of the damage but it will never be the rug that I delivered to Isberian. If you value your oriental you can have them clean it but do not let them touch any repairs! This is a company that has been used by my family for many years but clearly it has changed and not for the better.

Our basement flooded, and the oriental rug was completely soaked with back up sewage water.  Some friends helped me put the rug in my truck, and I drove it down to Isberian's River North location (they gave a discount if I dropped off and picked up myself).  They gave me an estimate based on the size of the rug. When I picked it up, it was done on time, and right on the estimate.  More important, the rug looked great.  You never would have known it had been flooded and filthy.  Great service, and a very reasonable price.

The overall interaction was okay. I don't have that much experience to give any recommendation. I have no reference about price. The quality of work was okay. I might consider using them in the future.

They did a fine job. We spent $40 on that work. They were very helpful because we took in two rugs at once and one was in bad condition. They told me that it wasn?t really worth anything because it had mold, but they were very considerate. They told us to come back in two weeks and it would be ready and it was.

Worked out very well. Not only did they clean two rugs, but they charged less for the repairs than estimated. They explained on rug pick up that repairs were not as extensive as first estimated.
