 + 0 moreIt went well. Craig came out and walked us through it, gave us an estimate. We only had 1 week we could do this job because we usually have tenants in the unit, and Craig fit us in. The guys took steps to minimize the damage in my garden (important to me!) and each night secured the holes for safety. There were a few surprises along the way, but they were handled well. The best thing about this job was that everything was returned to the way they left it. They re-cemented the holes before they left. Another good thing was that Craig walked us through everything, and made sure to show up on the job to see how it was going. This only happened last week, so winter will be the big test. I feel that Craig would handle any problem we had. I'll report back to the list if I need to.
Description of Work: This was a very specialized project. We have a coach house unit, and the water main to the unit runs underground from the main house to the coach house via a pipe (a 60' stretch). We replaced the galvanized pipe with copper tubing. We did this because of the age of the pipe, and because it has a tendency to freeze where it comes out of the ground. This project involved digging a 6 foot deep hole on my sidewalk, a hole in my basement, and a 6 foot hole outside the coach house. It was a 3.5 day job.
