Lee dealt with all the difficult issues that arose during this upgrade, including working around some difficult angles to install the exterior code box. He found the best ways to bring new electrical up from the basement for the stove range hood and stove. He also cut tile (splashback in kitchen), as the holes originally in place for those non-GFCI outlets were too small for new plugs (in one the tile blocked the screw attachment for the plug). Once the covers were in place it all looked great. This home was built in 1950, and most of the outlets he replaced were original--the plastic on some of them had already decayed to where they were falling apart. As a parent with young kids, I'm very happy now to have grounded outlets throughout, and GFCIs near all my water sources. Lee was easy to work with and professional throughout.
Description of Work: Lee provided the following services: Converted 15 2-prong ungrounded outlets to grounded; converted 4 outlets to GFCI; converted 1 combo double switch & 2-prong outlet to GFCI equivalent; converted 2-prong circular circuit box to GFCI in basement for laundry; converted 1 exterior 1 plug with bad polarity to GFCI with Exterior Code box. He also installed electric supply to cabinet for range hood and whip; installed electric supply for stove and outlet, and installed a new 20 amp circuit. The price included all labor and materials.
