The work was done satisfactorily. I really liked the 2 regular women that came. I didn't like the way the guy in the office provided customer service. It felt as though I worked for him rather than him being the service provider. They were expensive and I had to go to biweekly because of the rising costs, required great flexibility from me but gave little. It took a long time for him to get me on the schedule and a long time for him to adjust over charges on my credit card so I paid by check after that Finally there is no management oversight- whatever the cleaning staff says is the final word. They often left early. I had to monitor the times and call the office to get the fee adjusted.

Used them for 3 years and they seemed more concerned with getting to the next house than getting mine clean. Quality of cleaning went down over time.

I started using MaidPro early 2014-because of their ads and the 49 point cleaning that they are supposed to do each time.
They come to the house first and do an overall review of what is to be cleaned and give you prices. The more rooms they saw the more the price went up so I decided to go with all of the first floor, master bedroom, bath and guest bath on the second floor. That left 2 bedrooms not to be cleaned by them. I won't go into more detail because I could write up a 2-3 pages on how unhappy I am with their service. After several months I noticed my kitchen tile floor was not very clean I took a white paper towel dipped in water and wiped up a small section, it was dirty, as if they never cleaned it. What I found out (since I was not home when they clean) is that there is no "elbow grease" involved, they clean the floors and bathroom tile with rags, no scrubing what so ever. I sent them an email with a picture of the dirty paper towel. They said they would look into it. The rep called me up and told me in order for them to clean the floor with a brush they would have to raise the price, I said fine. Well that worked out for a few months. Then I noticed dusting was not being done,my ceiling fan was not dusted, nor the wall vents, nor the picture frames etc. I purchased a swiffer that extends for cleaning fans and higher vents, takes less than 5 minutes, never used. Again I took pictures of dirt and dust-sent them in. I had to call them to see if they had received my email, response was "oh yeah we were going to call you". What???? The last straw was last month July 2015, my house was basically left the way they found it, what ever happend to the 49 point cleaning? This was about the 4th time I called complaining about the service (with pictures) and each time I had to call them, they never responded. When I called them this last time they basically did not have anything to say. I told them i was canceling the service, no I am sorry, nothing. I did tell them not to cash my check and they said they would tear it up and throw it away. There were 3 times when they broke an item and they did either fix it or reimbursed me.

I've had MaidPro cleaning our home for about a year and a half now. The young women are friendly and show up when they are supposed to. The cleaning has been either fantastic or a haphazard job. I have overlooked some of the problems or things that have been overlooked until now. There is a serious lack of communication within the Evanston office. The Boston home office makes lots of promises that the local office does not deliver on. If you have a complaint or need to cancel the message doesn't get channeled to the person who is supposed to handle it and they don't get back to you to follow up. I always have to call twice to cancel. If you leave a message with one person that you are canceling, you'll get a reminder call that the ladies will be out to clean as usual the next day. Super annoying cuz if you don't give proper notice they will charge your credit card, whether they clean or not. So I call AGAIN. The last time they cleaned for us an entire room was missed. A few times they haven't cleaned the bathtub. Last time they left and did not securely lock my door and it was standing open when I arrived home. This is NOT acceptable! Another time they left their notebook with all their clients personable information. Some stating where the key is hidden to get in the home. I had to return this to the office. The lack of concern about security of homes and information is not important to these people. The inconsistent cleaning from week to week doesn't set well with me either. Until, I get some resolution to these problems, my business will be on hold.

pleasant, and so were the two ladies who came. But they did not complete
several jobs the service agreed they would do. Yet they charged us for extra
time to do the rooms they agreed to clean. I would not have minded if they had
done a good job. Unbelievably, they left the bathtub much dirtier than they
found it. I had to clean it the next day. They promised to dust baseboards (the
rooms had just been painted and vacuumed so they were clean) but they did not
clean the floor or dust baseboards in one room, and only partially cleaned in
another room, leaving patches of dirt. They agreed to clean the oven, but only
did half of it. They promised to clean the inside windowsills, but did not do so in
several rooms, even though nothing but a light sponging was necessary. They did
not remove the fingerprints from door frames as promised. They did not clean
under some furniture, as promised. Their 49-point checklist seems to lack authority.
The promise Maid Pro makes to come back and finish the job if the customer is not
satisfied sounds good. But I did not have another day for them to finish the
job, nor should I need to. And I did not hire them so I could train their
employees.

Martha and Lazjoy arrived on time and came with all necessary supplies (what a bonus!). After a floor by floor tour with me narrating additional specifics or "be careful of" (like LR/DR wood floor), the women got busy. When they were finished, I couldn't believe how immaculate everything was. They didn't miss corners, tops of shower rods, behind doors (especially where half-wall tile meets wall), and telephone. Caulking around kitchen sink backsplash was dirty, and today it is clean (old/worn, but clean). Bathrooms were sparkling, including old grout/caulking. Blades of 3 ceiling fans were cleaned, and the in-between railings on two flights of stairs were also cleaned. I have a glass jar flour/seed pantry on a six-shelf bookshelf in the kitchen and every glass jar was cleaned/dusted. They were here a total of 3 1/2 hours, nice as they could be. I'd definitely hire again from this company in general and specifically these two cleaners.
