If it isn't right, they want to fix it. Once there was a mystery problem which turned out to be the replacement part supplied by the original manufacturer. They persisted until the problem was solved,

Oil changes of course are very straight forward. But again I've been taking my family cars here for years for whatever the mechanical problem has been. Over the years I have found Lincolnwood Service (owner Bobby and son Barry) to be very honest, price reasonable and very solid, knowledgeable technicians.

They were recommended to us. The mechanic is very knowledgable and honest. He has an excellent work ethic.

Surprised that they have no reviews here yet but glad to be able to give Kevin and the crew a good recommendation.
This shop is close to where I work, and some people at a local lunch place that I frequent had some really good things to say about Kevin. My car was acting up, and so I took it in to him.The thing that's really nice about them is that they've put in a lot of time so far trying to diagnose the problem (it's not clear cut), and they have not charged me a penny. My other shop, closer to my house, does good work, and while their prices are not unfair, they always charge at least $50 or so just to diagnose the problem. With Kevin, you don't hesitate to bring in the car to be checked out.
I can't speak to the quality of work yet, as it has not been done (I will update this after the issue is diagnosed and the work done), and since it's a small shop, unless it's an emergency, you have to schedule time for them to look at your vehicle a week or so in advance. But I have hopes that the work will be good and, I am sure, will be priced well.
More soon.
