 + -1 moreGreat! My wheelbarrow wheel was flat and they had the replacement wheel. The best part was that one of the sale associates (Gail) helped me remove the old wheel and place the new one on the rim. it was not easy, but Gail kept at it and there was no charge for labor!

Description of Work: Lemoi copied two keys for me. As ever, the staff were very friendly, prompt, and competent. This business has been family-owned for decades, and I've been a customer for three decades. This business is now a member of Ace Hardware. Many of the staff have worked there for a long time, know their customers, know the stock, and know how the items in the store should be used.

 + -1 moreThe staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They always seem to have everything I need and they've taught me a lot about maintaining my home. They've helped me save money. They beat the pants off Home Depot. I love them.
Description of Work: I own a two-flat and try to do all of my hardware shopping at Lemoi Ace. I have had window shades re-rolled, keys made, but mostly bought hardware items and gotten a lot of advice about how to use them.

In my particular case, they did not have the item and could not get it but told me exactly where to go to obtain it. That, to me, is above and beyond the call of duty.

YOU CAN BRING A LITTLE PROBLEM TO THEM AND THEY USUALLY GIVE YOU ONE OR TWO OPTIONS. IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT, THEY WILL ORDER. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOPS WITH LEMOI. THIS HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE FOR 20 YEARS.
Description of Work: THE MOST RECENT EXAMPLE OF THEIR WORK - THE OLD IRON BRACKET ON THE SEAT OF A ROUND SCREW-IN PIANO STOOL WAS BROKEN. THEY IMPROVISED WITH A COUPLE OF WASHERS @ 5 CENTS EACH AND EVEN SCREWED IN A NEW SCREW (5 CENTS)WITH THE WASHERS IN PLACE. IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM.
