 + -1 moreI had been looking on line and in other antique and brass shops. Jan knew exactly what I needed and led me to where it was. It was much cheaper than my research had led me to think I was going to pay.
Description of Work: I was trying to complete an antique lock set for my front door. It is an unusual type (even for an antique). All the other hardware in the house matched and there was an outline on the front door of where the hardware should go.

 + -1 moreJAN HAS A HUGE WAREHOUSE FILLED WITH ARCHITECTURAL ARTIFACTS AND FURNITURE. IT IS A PARADISE FOR DO-IT-YOURSELFERS, AND THOSE WHO WANT TO BRING A SPARK TO THEIR HOMES. EVERYTHING FROM OLD WINDOWS AND DOORS, TO HARDWARE, TO FURNITURE AND MIRRORS. JAN IS ALSO A DELIGHT, AND QUITE KNOWLEDGEABLE. EXPECT TO SPEND SEVERAL HOURS EXPLORING!
