work was done but one year later had a leak in the living room twice which was cared for but now 3 years later since have more leaks in the living room I have sent several emails and made several phone calls still no response

Our whole block has experienced animal damage to our roofs. Shingles pulled up and even attempts to chew through plywood. A number of us used this service provider. I called on a Thursday evening and they were out Monday to inspect. They were back out in a couple days and made all repairs just before the storms hit. They repaired 4 damage areas on my house. All of us that used Jack Taff Roofing had same results. Excellent service.

Excellent.  They came on time, worked hard all day and cleaned up after themselves and one would not even know that they had been there at all -- that's how awesome the entire job went.  They found pieces of plywood in need of total replacement and they went ahead and did that to ensure that I would not have any future issues.  That's the kind of craftsmanship and dedication to the roofing occupation that a customer wants all the time!  I can now sleep at night knowing that my roof is good for another 20 years or so!  I am a repeat customer having used them 20 years ago.  They are so awesome and dedicated I spread the word!

I had to replace the whole roof due to wind damage, and called a few contractors to give me an estimate.  Jack Taff is local and came rather quickly and gave me a nicely written estimates, I met the owner outside of the house and he explained to me in details what will be done.  Other contractors either let me waited a long time before come then gave me a ridiculously high estimate or didn't come at all even though they said they'll come,  the one that gave me a rather cheap estimation I can't communicate with at all.  I figured this is something I  need to communicate with the contractor well and might need to contact them after the job is done, I would rather pay a little more for a local contractor that I can find and easily talk to than a cheap contractor who completely disappears after the job and can't really communicate with.  Plus you get what you paid for, and this is my roof over my family's head, cheap is not an option.
I presented insurance company's estimate to Jack Taff roofing, and they were nice enough to match close to the estimate and allowed me to pay half of it with my credit card. Their willingness to work with you to get the job is also another factor that made me signed contract with them.
The work started as soon as weather permitted, and it took two days, after each day they cleaned up very well and I was informed what has been done and what will be done later.  My roof now looks very nice and I'm very satisfied with the work. I'm waiting for a stormy day to check any leaks, I'm not expecting any but I'm sure if I find any, I can just call them and they'll come to fix it.
I highly recommend Jack Taff roofing if you need any roof job done.

We called the day of the recent wind storm and received a call the next morning. The contractor Rob, said that he could swing by the house in the next 30 mins to check out the damage. He assessed the problem and said that he had the materials with him to fix the issues. We agreed on a price, and they were done in less than an hour.

Everything was cleaned up and done neatly. Not a single nail laying on the ground anywhere once they were done. They were very knowledgeable, fast, professional, and efficient. The roof looks great and I am very pleased.

Contacted Bob Taff (son of founder, now runs co.) after a tree fell on our roof in fall; by time we got quotes etc. weather was too bad, we waited until spring, Bob was great about remembering the quote from previous fall. Came out personally 2x, fairly priced, tho I did not get quote on deteriorated side-rail roofing (smallest part of job) along with rest of quote as discussed.
Crew was efficient and cleaned up very well. As far as I could tell work on pitched roof and the porch flat roof was well done and will be weathertight for years. Installation of downspouts was solid, they function well. The side roofing strips, once we got straight on price etc for that, went OK and fast and seems functional.
After-care: About a week after installation there was a big rain and the main corner of the gutter seemed to be leaking. Perhaps that cured but I think Bob came out to look at it, and fixed it, because after that, it seemed sealed up.  Pitch of the gutters at first seemed a little more than pre-existing gutters, and was corrected somewhat.
 
Minor issues:  Downspout was only installed on half of second story, so roof water is not distributed evenly, 75% comes to one side and 25% to the other lower downspout. The upper downspout does not come down to porch roof as pre-existing downspout did but terminates in mid-air; Bob did not want to extend because he thought it would be too long and vulnerable to winds. Other lower downspout extends very close to ground making it hard to get good pitch via extender downspouts away from house. Porch roof was only built up about 2" with styrofoam wedges, when I had thought we would be adding about 4"-6" height to increase pitch. I can live with and/or fix/adjust all of these myself (not the flat roof pitch) without too much effort, and given the good price and speed, did not press issues, paid full invoice.
There was a minor misunderstanding where I did not see Bob's e-mails and was waiting for the side strip work to be completed, while Bob thought job was done. Bob was good-natured as we straightened this out.
Bonuses:  Bob took time during job to go over some details. At his suggestion some copper flashing was added that is a nice aesthetic touch and may inhibit moss growth.
Bottom line:  I would use Jack Taff Roofing again because overall the quality was good, they know their stuff, and they dealt OK with some small odd geometries, and Bob is good to deal with, but I would want to be more specific and have in writing exactly what the expectations and specifications would be.  But this is good advice in dealing with any contractor. There were no big surprises, crew was courteous and respectful of plantings, cleanup was pretty thorough, and IMHO he is fair and honest.

They were very responsive.  I called them the evening of the storm and they said they will come the next day to take a look at it because I was worried that it was going to fall and hit somebody.  They came on Saturday, attached the roof so it wouldn't fall off, then came back on Monday with the right materials.  They were very professional and did a great job.

went well! He was very responsive and positive through out the project. they went cleanly and nicely around chimney and several vents. installed new vents. went out of his way to paint the vents the color I wanted. no known leaks. some of the trim I did not like aesthetically how it was installed, he came out within a week and fixed it free. very willing to agree to the original contract that I produced = greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

They did a superior job.  They were very responsive.  They came in on time, did the work, cleaned up nicely and were very pleasant to deal with.  They responded quickly when I needed them to do the job.

It took quite a while to get an estimate and then do the work, but the quality was good and the price was very reasonable.

Excellent job from start to finish. They acquired all necessary permits and kept the job site neat each day.

We had a small 1 square foot patch of shingles damaged on our roof. Even though it was a small job, the Jack Taff crew responded quickly and had it repaired within 2 days for a very reasonable charge. Great company!
