I can not recommend Harmony Haus and Nichole more highly. Not only is her work impeccable, her communication is clear and consistent and she made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Nichole steered me in the right direction, even when I was questioning the color choices, and I am beyond grateful that I listened to her! She came in on budget and ahead of schedule, which is pretty unheard of in this industry. She knows her craft and takes pride in her work. I will absolutely only go to Nichole for all of my future painting needs.

Perfect. Quality of finished work was a 10. Plus every other aspect of the project was exceptional. She helped my wife with color selections. Provided detailed job proposals. She showed up on time and worked diligently and even put up with some of the other trades people who were lacking in social skills and politeness. Her knowledge in and use of low VOC paints was an added bonus. No paint odor in the house. All in all I would use her for all our continuing projects but the demand for her services out weigh my patience to wait. The word is out and she is in high demand. Bottom line. Harmony Haus is the painting contractor we have used in Chicagoland.

I highly recommend them. They did a great job and they are fast. They are fantastic and very competitive.

We were intrigued by Nichole's (owner of Harmony House) approach (emphasis on green, attention to detail, design services, etc). Her bid was competitive and we signed her contract. She got back with us promptly to advise the start date and started as promised. She worked efficiently and diligently. The room was probably left cleaner than when she started. Part of the repairs gave her some fits to get right, but she is truly a professional and a perfectionist and made it right, on her dime. We will certainly use Harmony Haus again, in fact she has already quoted 2 additional rooms.

Nichole came over for the initial consultation, and brought a large number of sample cards so we could choose colors in the space to be painted. She provided very helpful advice about how to choose colors, assisted in color selection, and reviewed with us how to choose flat vs eggshell vs semi-gloss for our particular job. She wrote up a highly detailed, clear, written estimate on the spot which included all work to be done, as well as what paints to be used. She sourced all the paint herself. Her estimate was completely fair in terms of price, but ended up being a tremendous value because of the quality of the work. For example, the door trims were all raw wood, and needed to be primed, the nail holes filled, and as many as six layers of paint applied until the trim looked proper (she used a microfiber roller which produced great results, but was very labor intensive). She's probably the neatest painter I've ever encountered. Ever. Most painter's drop cloths and equipment are splattered with coats of paint, but Nichole's equipment was as tidy as her work, and not a single drop of paint landed outside her drop cloths. When she left, everything was perfectly picked up, nothing was left out of place. Our job was rather finicky, with lots of doors and trim for a job of our size. She fully prepared and primed all new surfaces. The open wall sections were flawless, and she did a nice job transitioning the new construction walls into the existing, painted, walls with paint she had custom matched. Harmony Haus also specializes in environmentally friendly interior painting. So all paints were low-VOC, and all materials used were recyclable. We literally took our newborn baby through the painted areas after she left, there was no smell or irritation, no ill effects. She minimized the amount of taping that was done as well (to minimize waste), which made me realize how good a painter she is, carefully detailing the small areas and transitions, and removing the door hardware where possible.
