Phil and his staff were great. They came and listened to what I wanted (Not really sure how it was going to be possible to do,) took measurements, built the false back in his workshop and then installed it in the unit. It was well done and looks great. We would use his services in the future without hesitation!

We were told repeatedly that we would pay more for their work, but it was worth it. Everything was quoted with an additional 10 - 35 k on top of it. There was no design sense, no style sense, no punctuality, and no real respect for our time or ideas - so we are not sure what we paid $3,000 for??? We were condescendingly told that people on the Northshore were willing to pay way more than we believed the job to be worth, but we never got the detailed job breakdown that we were promised. We had to ask for everything twice.

We liked it very much. They are expensive but very good.

Was told on the phone that they service a high end clientele. As an example, they said that they never remodel a kitchen for less than $100K. Basically, they were telling me not to bother them unless I'm planning to spend a lot of money with high end fixtures. While I don t like that answer and the elitist attitude, it's better that they told me this up front. That way nobody's time is wasted.

THIS IS A FABULOUS COMPANY. THEY ARE A DESIGN-BUILD FIRM AND THAT MEANS THAT THEY HANDLED THE DESIGN AS WELL AS THE CONSTRUCTION. THEIR DESIGN WAS CREATIVE (THEY SUGGESTED IDEAS THAT I NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF ON MY OWN) AND THE REMODELING WORK IS FIRST RATE. THE FIRM ALSO CUSTOM MADE THE CABINETRY IN ITS EVANSTON SHOP. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE THRILLED WITH THE RESULTS.
