B H Suhr

We've been residents of Winnetka for the last nine year. We finally found a project house we can fix to our tastes on Sheridan. After working with another surveyor for 2+ weeks to get them out to the house, they say they can't do it. Enter B H Suhr (Ray Hansen). I got Ray's name from the local civil engineer who does work all over the northshore. Ray completely pull my butt out of a fire. We had two weeks to closing and all the other surveyors I called were quoting 3-4 weeks. He was able to fit my survey in despite having a similar backlog. The reason my survey was so expensive was it was an ALTA/ACSM certified land and title survey. It is very accurate (100th of a foot) and much more detailed than a standard survey. Also, it's a big property with not one straight property line. I was actually quoted nearly double by another surveyor, but I think they do mostly commercial properties. They did a fantastic job. The survey is beautiful. They are also providing it as a pdf and autocad drawing. I highly recommend B H Suhr and will us them again whenever we move again.
