The experience went very well. He is really good. He gave a lot of options to my boyfriend. We would give him a really good rating. He has an assistant and a majority of the time, we deal with his assistant than him. He is really busy. If we have any questions, he will always make space for us.

Jan is a top-rate agent. Before choosing Jan, we extensively researched and interviewed agents with longstanding, stellar reputations and a track record helping working professionals (with limited free time!). We have worked with her as buyers and she is thorough, diligent, completely professional, and low-pressure. She alerts her clients to listings as soon as they come up on MLS and she is constantly touring houses on her own/with other clients so she knows the listings inside and out in the evanston/wilmette area. We could not be more pleased. We plan to use her in the future when we sell. Jan is a wonderful buyers agent in any area of chicagoland but she is particularly expert in Evanston and Wilmette - - she lives, eats, breathes real estate in those areas. She is on top of market trends and will give you a fair and frank assessment of properties. I did not have the time to spend learning everything about the northshore market or touring houses that were clearly inappropriate for us. With Jan there was no need for me to do that - - she knows everything about the market, she thoughtfully puts together a list of houses for her clients to view based on their specific needs, and she was very helpful in orienting us to neighborhoods and recreational amenities.
