I called about getting a quote and evaluation, since we had DirecTv come out and tell us that we could not get HD, and that the replacement for our dishes would be VERY expensive. When I talked to Anya at SatCom, she was professional and helpful. She told me that I did not need to get two dishes replaced, since the newer dishes handle the 4 receivers that we had. She made an appointment for a couple of days later, and I was very happy with the call. About an hour later, Anya called back and asked me if I wanted someone that day, since they had someone that was finishing up in the area and he could come in 30 minutes. This was awesome! I agreed and 35 minutes later Peter and another man showed up. After I explained what the issues were, they looked at the problem, and replaced my dish, installing the HD dish. They cleaned up the old satellite pieces, policed the yard, fastened everything securely and in general did an awesome job. They also showed me how to check the alignment if the dish gets bumped or if tree branches start to occlude the satellite view. 

They also came in to check the reception, which was great. When they came in, just to make sure that we did not have problems, they also checked the entire wire connection from the dish to the inside switch. They went above and beyond any service I have ever had. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. They were responsive, listened well and worked efficiently, even in very cold and dark conditions. Thanks to all of them!!!

SATCOM arrived on time with two technicians. They found the problem we were having with our DirecTV loss of signal. Previously,the DirecTV technician who came over suggested we rip out the wall to find the cause of the signal loss.If anyone has a problem with Satellite reception  - SATCOM is the company to call. They actually deserve an A+, but you don't offer that!

The employees from Satcom are very helpful and give good advices to their customers. One of the employee Marcin helped us also to move some furniture.We really appreciate it.

We have 3 floors and high-pitched roofs so it's hard to find someone that will go up on the roof to do anything. I called Satcom and told them it was urgent and they nicely sent someone the next day "as long as there is no snow on the roof." This was their requirement. I told them there wasn't any (from what I could see, I just did a quick glance) and they said "okay, we'll do it then". I was quoted $95.00. The guy that came the next day said he needed help due to the height and he had to wait for all the snow to melt (there was a bit of snow still in the crevices of the room that I hadn't seen - oops! totally my fault!) and assured me the satellite dish wouldn't fall due to the 2 cables. I was worried they would charge me for the first visit, and they DID NOT!!! They didn't mention a thing about it! The next week I got busy and wasn't really paying attention to the weather. Satcom called me and asked me to check the roof for snow. I didn't see any so they scheduled something for 2 days later (they said they had checked the weather and felt confident it was only going to get warmer). They followed up with me!!!! I didn't even have to call them back!!! THAT IS TOTALLY AMAZING and completely unexpected!! Two guys showed up right at 1:00 (window was 1:00 to 5:00) and were done in 20 minutes. Two other notable things: they got (loose) dirt on the carpet and asked for a vacuum cleaner. I said, "Don't worry about it, we will get it" because someone else was using the vacuum and we were about the vacuum the entire upstairs. The 2 guys kept insisting they clean up their own mess "It's no problem. Please just let us clean up our mess" they kept saying. I kept saying "Nope, it's fine. It's fine." They finally agreed and picked up their stuff to leave. On the way out, 2 floors down, the person using the vacuum cleaner was having trouble. A part had broken off on the vacuum and she couldn't figure out how to get it back on. It was just us two women in the house at the time and we were both trying to get it to work. So, one of the guys sees us and comes BACK in the house before leaving to help us fix the vacuum. That is just simply amazing!!!! I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. And even with the extra person and vacuum help, the bill still ended up being $95.00. Don't go anywhere else! This is a top-notch company that will get it right every time!

I called at 11 am on Saturday. The gentleman who answered was busy and said he would call me back a little after noon, which he did. Told him my issue, the contractors removed and replaced my satellite dish, but didn't align it, therefore I had no reception. He made sure I knew the cost was $95 for the call. He took my address, said he'd be there in 1/2 hour, and was there on time. It took him maybe 15 minutes to check the wires to be sure they were live, adjusted the dish, and made sure my TVs were working. I had expected to have to make an appointment for later in the week, so was pleasantly surprised and ever so grateful when he said he'd come out the same afternoon!

After getting a new roof, I needed someone to point the dish. I called SATCOM at 9:30am and the guys were here an hour later. The woman in the office was very nice and helpful and the two gentlemen that showed up were very professional. After adjusting my dish, they went around the house and secured the cabling to the house where it had come loose. Not asked for and not charged for...but very much appreciated.

I think it?s great that their technicians are so knowledgeable in so many different types of equipment and set-ups. My wife asked me to call them and ask to sign up with Angieslist.com so we can share our great experience with the rest of their customers and their future customers as well as show our appreciation to the company for doing a great job and at the same time saving us time and money.
