MONT CLARE SHOE REPAIR

They could not repair them completely, but they did to the best of their ability, and I thought they did a good job. I have like mixed feelings about them. They seemed really good, but the woman on the phone was not very nice, but when I talked to her in person, she was very nice. Sometimes, I think people do not understand how they sound on the phone. They are actually really nice people. They seem really old fashioned and there are good things about that and not so good things about that. I would go to them again, but they are a little quirky. They could have taken me to the cleaners with their price. The $15 was mostly like for shoe cleaners and stuff like that. To repair, it might have been five bucks or something. It was really expensive. It is easier to talk to them in person than on the phone. The communication was harder on the phone and less warm. I do not think they intended that. It just sort of came off that way, but they were really good. I would recommend them. They were very punctual.

I have a very good pair of shearling boots. But the sole separated from the top. I took the boots in and was told this happens, partly because the boots are 10 years old. I was told the glue gives out after a while. They did a perfect job on the soles and also refinished the boots. For a great price too. Hard to find a good shoe repair. This one is a keeper. The job was done sooner than expected.

I took my two favorite pair of shoes in to be cleaned on the INSIDE. Too many years of wearing them without socks I guess. Anyway, they did a fantastic job! They cleaned out the inside and replaced the insole for both pair and cleaned the outside as well. They did a great job, quickly, and for less money than buying a new pair. I have my favorite shoes back! And the guys that work there are super nice.

Frank and Joe are wonderful, and obviously skilled at their work. This purse was incredibly shabby and worn, and covered in stains. They did an excellent job breathing life back into it. Frank was sorry that he didn't get absolutely all the stains out, so he lowered his original estimate. That never happens, does it? Wonderful experience. I've found my new shoe and leather repair shop!

Every experience with Mont Clare is a great one. There is not an issue too big or small that the shop cannot repair.

Fantastic! They are friendly, fast and a great price. They do luggage too, so I plan on taking our beat up luggage to them to get fixed asap.
