Alexie's work was outstanding! He was very accommodating in getting us the best paint prices and nailing the specifics we were looking for. Most of all, he's simply a great and personable business owner who was prompt, timely, eager, and took pride in his work. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Alexie is great! Hired him the first time to do drywall + plaster repair, and painting of our upstairs. His diligence and attention to detail were amazing. His work totally transformed the space. Hired him again a few months later for some electrical work, which was, again, excellent. His work is great, he's easy to get along with, and his prices are fantastic for the quality of the work you get. Already planning to book him again for a couple of projects in the spring. Highest possible recommendation.

Chicago Painting Specialist is an amazing and hard-working company. I called in for a quote and Alexie was at my door within 2 hours. He gave me a competitive quote to repaint my 1600-1800 SF apartment including ceilings and closet removal. Alexie wants the job and he'll negotiate to get it done. Alexie and his crew work diligently, on-time, and with job updates. The only surprise is the high standard of work he and his crew does at such a good price. They worked thru Covid and for health and safety gave the option of stopping the job, but they powered on and were essentially sheltered up there for 2 weeks! My husband and I are extremely grateful for this because we would've been in a tough place if our rental was not ready for the next month. They do more than just paint, they can fix the whole house! We're committed to this very respectable company. Get the job done and hire these guys.

I've used them several times before with no problems. But this time the work was not completed.After working five days painting the apartment Alex said they are finish so went to inspect the apartment, since the unit was vacant there was no electric power it was getting dark. I walk thru the unit everything seemed alright so I paid Alex that night. the next morning I went back to the unit and notice that most of the window frames were only half painted. The bottom was painted but not the tops. That was Saturday October the 6th I've been calling Alex every day for a week I left messages no reply. This is very frustrating after I paid $3,700 I have to finish this project myself The first photo shows the top of the window and the second photo shows the bottom. This is just one window, there's twenty six others.

Everything went great. Hard to get a hold of, but very good at what he does.

The porch looks great after Alexey and team arrived to clean and paint as scheduled.

Incredible job. I have hired Chicago Painting Specialist for many jobs. Painting, plaster work, full remodel of our new home. Alexie is a top notch home improvement specialist and comes with a team of professionals that put your first.

The worker was professional and did a great job. I am disappointed that there was an extra service fee of $75 for the company to pick up the sheet of drywall at the store for me. I fully expected to pay for the material, but it seems unreasonable for a homeowner to get the materials required for the job. When setting the appointment I described the scope of work and was told I needed to get the drywall or pay the charge to which I agreed. I used the $99 deal for 2 hours of work.

I initially encountered a minor scheduling difficulty. I had emailed Chicago Painting Specialist with dates that I was available to use the deal I had purchased. They told me I was scheduling for the following week Thursday at 8am. At about 8:15am I called to see if they were on their way, and left a message. A few minutes later, I got a call back from Alexie saying that he had to go to the hospital and he was sorry, but we would need to reschedule. Not a big deal, but I would have appreciated a text or an email in advance, or as soon as he knew he would not make the appointment. We rescheduled for a couple weeks later. I texted the night before to confirm the appointment, and Alexie responded the next morning to say he would be there. He was right on time. Alexie performed the work well. Since my deal was limited by time, he prepped the surface and replastered it, and then left to work on another job while the plaster dried. He returned to check the plaster had dried properly and finish cleaning up. The 3-hour deal was not enough time to include painting, but Alexie said he could provide a separate quote for painting the whole ceiling. The price was right for the deal, and Alexie did high quality work. My only complaint was the small miscommunication during our first scheduled appointment.

I initially purchased an Angie's List deal for drywall repairs. When the owner (Alexie Ayala) arrived at my house we discussed other projects I was preparing to have done. He has a network of sub-contractors that he works with on a regular basis for home renovations too. I liked Alexie from the start - he's a hard-working family man with a lot of integrity. I had the interior of my home painted, fully renovated 2.5 bathrooms, the kitchen, new flooring, and new fireplace surround. All new light fixtures and faucets too. Over the 4 week period the entire project was completed and I am thrilled with the results! A great group to work with!

The owner showed up for an estimate right away. They got everything done in 2 days. They always showed up on time and the quality of the work is great. They cleaned up nicely after they finished and put all the furniture back in the right spots. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

The paint job looks wonderful. No mistakes and it was done very efficiently.

Alexie was right on time, very friendly and did a beautiful job on the repair. He even returned at a later date, and repainted the wall for us.

Professional job, and left the house clean.

Lorenzo worked extremely hard and with impressive accuracy. With a lot of painters, we could do just as good a job if we had time. Lorenzo did a better job than we could. He was also prompt and professional throughout. I would hire Chicago Painting Specialists again.

We had a week to paint over 2000 sq feet and Alexie assigned Lorenzo to our home. Alexie told me he was good and fast. I met Lorenzo on the first day and he got started in the living room while I went and mowed the lawn. About an hour later I came back into the house and Lorenzo had the first coat completed in the living room and was starting the trim in the dining room. The living room looked great after just one coat. The entire job took 50 hours. We had purchased an Angie's List deal of 40 hours of labor for $999. Saved us a lot of money and Lorenzo did such a great job.

They were excellent. It really only took 2 hours and 45 minutes to do the repair, but it was a fabulous repair. I got more than my money's worth, anyone else would have charged me probably 200-300 for that repair. His name is Lorenzo, he was fabulous. He put down a tarp and plastic, then he went to work. It's like plastic, tarp, plastic. When he was done he cleaned up everything. It was cleaner than before he started.
