The plumbers (two were present at all times) were polite and cleaned up their work area. The quality of the actual work done appeared to be good. The first time they came out, they were unable to identify the problem and, in fact, misidentified the problem, removing my toilet and replacing it when that was not the cause of the leak. When they came out the next day, they discovered the actual problem and fixed it. They came out a third time re-hook up my sink. Overall, over the course of three days in a 4x4 foot room, they found and repaired a leak and charged me $4,859 (primarily for labor). I found this amount excessive. I was told that much of it was overtime, which is hard to understand as the plumbers were never present in the evening or on the weekends. I was told that there would be no adjustment in the bill and it was strongly suggested to me that I file it with my insurance company.
Description of Work: Furnished labor and materials to locate and repair a leak between my apartment's lavatory and the master bath in the apartment beneath mine. Materials were negligible, nearly the entire bill was for labor. I was not present during much of the work as my superintendent supervised the job.
