+ -1 moreOne good example is using current pieces to accomplish specific designs. As we had unique build in bookcases from our previous house that were antiques. We loved them but they did not look right. To add more space and add layers to the room she suggested to 'hang' the bookcases and put our treasured collectibles within the bookcases to add room for oversized chairs and use great use of empty walll space around a fireplace. It was great to see a layered view that can use something besides artwork on a wall. This is a great example of her meeting of our goal "thinking and designing out of the box".
Description of Work: My wife and I recently moved to our new home and needed a major update to the interior design and fixing up current furniture. Polay Design went well beyond excellent service. They first listened to our needs, budget and overall design expectations. Michelle, the owner, worked with us to give us plenty of options on how to rebuilt some quality furniture in order to maximize our budget. Polay helped with the overall design of the 1st and 2nd floors. They refurbished antique chairs and other unique pieces in the house along with classy window treatment. She pushed us to keep looking until the right piece was found at excellent prices that enabled additional pieces to be added. I have recommended her to many neighbors and friends due to her expertise and keen sense of design.
