One good example is using current pieces to accomplish specific designs. As we had unique build in bookcases from our previous house that were antiques. We loved them but they did not look right. To add more space and add layers to the room she suggested to 'hang' the bookcases and put our treasured collectibles within the bookcases to add room for oversized chairs and use great use of empty walll space around a fireplace. It was great to see a layered view that can use something besides artwork on a wall. This is a great example of her meeting of our goal "thinking and designing out of the box".
