N&M LANDSCAPING INC

This is probably the least professional business I have ever encountered. From their uneven, if not fraudulent, billing practices to the general laziness in work, it pains me to think how much money I wasted on them simply because I never got around to finding a company to replace them. The company's owner, Nate, is horribly unprofessional and rude, and apparently does not keep accurate records. The quality of their work varied week by week, and some weeks they did not even show up. They claimed to do some minor leaf clean-up and bagging, although that was never evident - it appeared that they actually just blew the leaves from the driveway onto the grass and mowed it, which was sufficient until the leaves really started to build up. I called and spoke to Nate twice to make sure they would rake and bag the leaves on the grass one time before they finished for the year. He assured me they would come before the week was out. They never came. When I called the following week to question their final bill, which included a charge for bagging leaves, he first tried to say that I had never requested clean-up (so why was I billed then?) and then tried to claim that they did it. They also overcharged for their services for that final month (they missed at least one week, if not more), and when I questioned that, he claimed that we had signed up for a monthly $100 contract, not the $25/week of actual services that I had agreed to. I told him I would not pay for services not completed.
