We had actually been pleased with them originally and we didn't like a real estate agent, so we actually switched to somebody that we found recommend through Angie's List. We had used them and we switched away from them. She really didn't click with her personality wise. She was a little unprepared sometimes and he is late and things like that. It wasn't really the company as a whole. It was just maybe this one real estate agent. She was quite responsive. I don't think she understood what exactly we were looking for.

The realtor I used was Joyce Okal. She was a great resource for buyers in the Elmhurst area (she lives here), and I know she's very familiar with the surrounding areas, such as Villa Park, too. She helped me find, put in an offer and eventually buy a house here, by working with the loan officers and lawyers to get stuff done. Schiller has since become Keller Williams, but if they keep the current staff I think this will still feel like a local realty office rather than part of a chain.

When my first two deals fell through, they fired me; was the best thing that happened since i found the best agent (Eva Sanchez with Coldwell) and my new home within 2 weeks. She worked for me; Schiller was nice, but they didn't work for me other than show me houses i found on the MLS and give me names of their fiends to do the needed work.

I thought Pat was fabulous. She showed us tons of homes. She was caring and told us she would not sell us a house she would not let her own kid buy. She never over-sold us. She stayed within our budget. She is very knowledgeable. She helped us negotiate at the table. She was wonderful.
