I called Tilden Roofing, explained my issue to Tara, the office person, and immediately received a callback from Keith Tilden.  Keith came out on 2/26/15, was very friendly and professional, and inspected the work to be done.  I made him aware of the fact that water was leaking into my home and damaging drywall.  Within a few days. I received a written proposal for the repair.  On 3/9/15, I scanned and emailed the signed proposal back to Tilden.  I heard nothing back.  On 3/16/15, I called to verify they received it--Tara verified that they had and said she would call me back and let me know when the work would be done.  Nothing.  On 4/6/15, I emailed for status.  I was told the work would be done the following week and to leave shingles out for the workers.  No one showed.  On 4/23/15, I emailed again and received no response.  On 5/4/15, I called the office, spoke to Tara who said she would have Keith call me.  Nothing.  On 5/11/15 I left a voicemail at the office.  No callback.  On 6/1/15, I called the office and spoke to Tara.  I explained the situation, expressed my frustration with the lack of follow-through and professionalism.  She replied with "I just answer the phone" and said she would give my message to Keith.  I said I would be writing this review if I didn't hear back.

this company was recommended to us so it was worth the wait.  The only area where they really need to improve is responsiveness.  We waited over two months and didn't know when they were coming until two days prior.

Tilden roofing did come out and nailed some shingles down and they said they fixed the leak source but they have not addressed the issues that were found during the inspection process. I have a list of documented issues that I would like to get resolved.

Owner came out and did estimate. We set up schedule to start. Work started on time. The crew, including the foreman, did not speak or understand English. We could not communicate with the crew. Had concerns that some of of the items discussed in the original quote were not being done. Called office and expressed concerns, office said don't worry, it would be done. Work was completed but damage was done to siding, nails were in the pool (caused liner hole), never received pictures about damage to roof caused by satellite dish, wood from dumpster left on lawn, and flashing was forgotten on chimney. When the roof was completed, the owner started demanding payment in spite of damage left by crew, unprepared. Invoice stated payment was due 14 days after completion of roof. The owner was informed of damage and only corrected flashing on roof, not wood cleanup or repair to siding, nor notarized letter about damage from satellite dish. Owner did not answer cell phone or numerous calls left on answering machine at the office, with no call back. Office made aware of damages numerous times, secretary promised action, but nothing happened. Owner saw damage on siding numerous times, but nothing done. Siding is still in need of repair, a notarized letter is still needed. We sent partial payment by registered priority mail to show good faith, but letter remains at post office, in spite of company receiving notices about it and being told by us it was there.

DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. ON TIME AND ON BUDGET. MATCHED VENTS AND FLASHING TO ROOF COLOR. LEFT JOB SITE VERY CLEAN. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
