He was outstanding. He did such a good job. He was very informative, gave me lots of information, was very helpful. It took him an hour. My furnace sounded really good when he was done. I was very pleased. He's very good at what he does (Scott).

I'd say I'm moderately happy with the job they did. I'm pleased that my new ductwork is designed to allow adequate airflow based on measurements of my house's needs, and not a seat of the pants estimate like the other companies I talked to. But the owner is not great on the details. They were in my house for four days, and they told me at the start of each one that they would finish that day. And every day, they left substantial messes for me to clean up, with lots of sharp little sheet metal slivers. To be honest, I didn't mention this to them because they kept staying so much longer than they said they would, I just wanted them out of the house.

I'M REMODELING MY HOUSE, AND TEARING OUT SOME INTERIOR WALLS THAT CARRY MOST OF MY RETURN DUCTS. I WANTED SOMEONE WHO WOULD DO MORE THAN GIVE ME A TOP OF THE HEAD ANSWER, AND SOME WHO WOULD DO QUALITY WORK. THE OTHER PEOPLE I TALKED TO WERE CLEARLY JUST TRYING TO COME IN AT THE LOWEST PRICE, AND WHEN I QUESTIONED THEM ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO, IT WAS CLEAR THAT I WASN'T GOING TO BE HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. SCOTT IS CERTIFIED BY THE NATIONAL COMFORT INSTITUTE. HE SPENT A GOOD PART OF A DAY HERE TAKING MEASUREMENTS OF WHERE THE AIR WAS COMING AND GOING IN MY HOUSE. HE TOLD ME EXACTLY HOW MUCH AIR I NEEDED TO MOVE, WHAT I WAS ACTUALLY GETTING, AND HOW MUCH LEAKAGE I'M GETTING RIGHT NOW. THEN HE GAVE ME A PLAN THAT WOULD SOLVE THE DUCT PROBLEMS I HAD. HIS WORK WASN'T CHEAP, BUT I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT I'M GOING TO END UP WITH A MORE COMFORTABLE, ENERGY EFFICIENT HOUSE AS A RESULT OF HIS WORK.
