We began experiencing problems with our AC unit on a Wednesday evening. I searched for HVAC providers in my area and was pleased to see Midwest Comfort pop up right by our house with lots of extremely positive Google reviews. I called right away and got the voicemail. While I was searching for an emergency number on their website (it was very hot and we had company coming in from out of town), Mark called me back. He was able to fit us in the very next morning and he came over right when he said he would.
He tried diagnosing the issue, but advised that a full diagnosis would be costly and that a new furnace might be the best option. In light of this, he did test the freon levels on the air compressor and noticed that they were low. He put in some additional freon and also fixed a potential leak caused by malfunctioning entry point and faulty gauge cap. His freon price was quite good relative to other providers ($65/lb).
I agreed that our furnace is near the end of its life, so I requested a quote for replacement. Mark wrote the quote, told us about rebates etc., and let us know that anything we spent that day would come off the price of the new appliances if we decided to upgrade.
Overall, my wife and I are extremely pleased with Mark's professionalism, punctuality, knowledge, and integrity. We highly recommend him and his services!

Professional, quick communicators. Ask for the right model #s and manuals. Do some research on the problem; don't just try to 'fix' it.

I called a few companies and had questions about the service being provided and this company was very thorough about explaining the process of duct cleaning to me. They arrived on time, wore shoe covers, were clean cut, and respectful of my home. They spent several hours performing the work and showed me what came out of my ducts. At the end of the job they walked around and made sure that everything was put back the way it was a cleaned up any mess that was left behind. I highly recommend this company!
