Overall, the work was OK, but the communication and clean-up left something to be desired. John was not good about returning phone calls and on a few occasions did not show up at agreed upon times. We were told we did not need to be home. We happened to be home one day and they asked to come inside to cover the furniture before the skylights were installed. If the furniture needed to be covered, what would they have done if we were not home? Between the two days the team was on-site, the outside was left a mess with my grill knocked over and garbage all over the place. Even after they finished, I had plastic stuck in my trees for weeks until I asked them to come and remove it. We used GEM because they are the preferred vendor for our Association. While I was OK with the final product, the whole point of using the "preferred" vendor was to make my life easy. Unfortunately, due to the communication and clean-up issues, it didn't turn out to be easier than using someone else.
