The garage floor epoxy peeled and started to flake off after only about 1 1/2 years. It was supposed to have a ten-year warranty. Tim Tracy agreed to fix it/resurface it, as per the warranty. He made two appointments to come and fix it and didn't show up either time, and is now not responding to our phone calls. We just registered complaints with the Better Business Association and the Attorney General Office of Chicago this week.

I'm waiting for the weather to let him install a storm door to further insulate the weather from the room.

Tim was very polite and informative as to what was needed.
Tim and his crew did these projects in two consecutive days and arrived on time.
They also cleaned up and left no messes and did a great job. I was very pleased that I hired him.

I certainly would use his company again when I am in need.

After obtaining a couple of estimates, we selected Tracy Improvement over the others as they were BBB highly rated and we had just used them for reroofing part of the house. They removed a raised deck that was built by the previous owners and was barely attached to the house. They also removed a wooden deck next to an inground pool that was rotting and too needed replacing These two decks were replaced with cedar decking and a third deck was also added off the main deck from the house. Overall, the quality of the work was satisfactory. The quality of the wood used was good and so far has held up well. The only major item that has surfaced is some of the screws have raised out of the wood but we assume this comes with age of the material. They do offer a 10 year warranty which we have not used.
During the construction, there were a couple of instances where we had to point out corrections to the design, e.g., width/overhang on one side of the upper deck; a second set of steps was overlooked on the deck by the pool. Also, we did find it necessary to followup with the business on a couple of occasions as to why there were days when no work was being performed as a commitment was made to complete the deck in a specified time interval.
As a home improvement business, their strength based on our experience in utilizing them is with decking.

the yearsOver many years, we found water had leaked into our house, causing some wood to become rotted in our basement and kitchen floor above.We called Tim Tracy and he arranged a time to come and inspect our problem. He arrived when he said he would and looked at the problem. He determined the first course of action that needed to be done was fixing the leakage problem so no more damage would occur.
He gave us an estimate for some gutter and roofing work he suggested would stop to water from continuing to cause damage. His price was very reasonable so we agreed to have him do the work. Then he gave us an estimate on repairing the damage we had already incurred which, unfortunately, meant he needed to, at the minimum, dismantle the first six boards of our deck closest to the house. He gave us a price on that. He also gave us prices on other options including a complete replacement of our 30 year old deck. We decided to replace the entire deck. Tim gave us different price options depending on whether we wanted to install another wood deck or use a more durable, low maintenance deck made from a composite product. He gave us the name of his supplier of these products and suggested we go and see the products so we could check out the types and colors of typesof products we had to choose from. Because of the age and condition of our deck, and our desire to have a low maintenance deck going forward, we chose a composite product. Tim ordered the product and installed it. We are very happy with the finished result. We found Tim to be honest, reliable and hard working. He had one to three helpers with him depending on the work that needed to be done. They all worked hard and knew what they were doing. We will, in the next few months, beconsidering remodeling our kitchen.While we plan to get several estimates, we certainly will invite Tim Tracy back to give us an estimate on that project.
