We had seen their work at a relatives' new house construction, and liked the product we saw. We asked if they would consider using their product for our situation, and that's how we came to hire them for this project.
Wanted to get rid of the existing bats of fiberglass insulation along the rim joist in my basement, to eliminate cold air, reduce moisture buildup. When called and left message for company, got call back in a few hours. Prompt response.
Only one little snafu, I had called and talked to coordinator at RevFoam, she had told me that they would be available in about 3 weeks, gave me a quote based on the linear feet I told them the basement perimeter had. I didn't get any written contract ahead of time. On Monday of that week they had previously told me they would be able to schedule the work, I gave them a call and they told me I was scheduled for the next day at 9AM. It just worked out that I could stay home that next day and had all the prep work done. Could have been a bit better coordinated in calling week before to schedule day/time.
2-man crew arrived on-time. They needed to remove a basement window and screen to run power and spray hoses into basement. They needed to remove the cover from my circuit breaker panel and install a breaker tap to run power back to their truck to run the spray equipment. Wasn't told that before-hand, but I had a spare spot in panel, so it wasn't a problem.
Crew was professional. Ran runners over floor, so they kept clean running in/out of house. Sprayed the foam and then a fire-retardant paint over the foam. The basement did smell for a few days, so kept windows open down there to ventilate. After a week, no odor was noticeable.
Overall was happy with the result. Coordination could have been a bit better, but it all worked out fine in the end.
