Mike's Plowing, Tree, and Lawn Service has provided professional services for the Elgin, IL community for over 25 years. Our staff offers quality and reliable services that you can count on. Mike, Afrado and the crew are here to make sure that your project is completed on time with quality service. We will strive to keep your property safe from hollowed out limbs, over grown trees and branches that may be infringing on your property, but do not have the ability to trim around the power line nor provide crane service for hard to reach limbs. We remove stumps from above and underground with our state of the art machinery. We will provide professional lawn service to make sure your side of the fence has the greenest grass. Our snow service is second to none by providing plowing, shoveling, and salting on both residential and commercial properties. We gladly take cash and check . If using a credit card there will be a 3% charge

I live in the same neighborhood as Mike and have used him several times over the years for tree trimming and snow removal. He just recently removed some branches that had come down from a recent ice storm. He is always prompt, and professionally gives a fair price, keeps you informed about any changes, and shows up when promised. I highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend working with Mike! He promptly returned my call and came out the same day for an estimate and was able to schedule the work right away. He is very professional, friendly, and honest and his prices are very reasonable. Him and his crew did an amazing job trimming my tree and in cleaning up. I would definitely work with him again!

They were scheduled to show up and do work on my house on 5/27/2020. Two days prior, he wanted to know how I would pay. I was told that if I wanted to use a credit card it would be 20% additional. I was then told I could not write a check because I live out of state. He literally hung up on me. I have two homes and have for many years. This has never been a problem for anyone. I have an Illinois driver's license, checking account, etc. Don't use unless you are standing at the door of your house with cash in hand.

If I had seen the confederate flag tatoo while getting an estimate, I would NEVER have hired them. Mike failed to inform me about the 11% surcharge for using a credit card. The crew hacked a tree which I did not want trimmed and left an absolute mess in my yard, which I am still cleaning up. Mike and his crew were more interested in pleasing my neighbor rather than me, the person paying for the service. Absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a tree trimming service.
