Maverick Patios

It went very well. At first I wanted him to also do a masonry wall and paver path in the front as well, but he was very honest in admitting they weren't equipped to do the masonry work, so he ended up just doing the new patio in the back. He was very helpful dropping off many paver samples and giving us potential sources for the materials. Juan was very patient with our decision making process. The work was done quickly and the city inspector said he did a very good job. The patio ended up being raised to accommodate a slope in the yard and the whole thing looks great. The patio was framed in a different color and style of paver and the way the stones were cut on the corner joints was very artistic. 
We can tell that Juan is very particular about his work, and knows what he's doing. I applaud his professionalism especially because he was working simultaneously with the contractors who ended up doing the front path and wall. All in all we are very pleased with the project.

Juan Toledo and his team completed a paver patio for us with an approximate square footage just over 425 ft.  His team was very professional, clean, on time everyday and finished the project as promised. Even during the project Juan would ask us if we would prefer something one way versus the original. In the end it was our choice, but a those details turned out even nicer than our original drawing!!  For example, people always comment how much they love the step design outside.  The experience of the team shows and in my opinion the quality was just as good as many of the pricier quotes we received. Juan was on site everyday getting his hands dirty, doing work and making sure it met our standards. There lies the quote differences. I was reluctant to pay a contractor that likely wouldn't be there the whole time, yet obviously was still going to get his/her cut. 

The decision paid off and we are thrilled with the new patio. You won't go wrong making Maverick Patios your choice for getting your job done.

Juan Toledo was hired to build a large paver patio and I came across his company on Craigslist.  I have heard many horror stories about people getting ripped off by companies on Craigslist so I was a bit nervous about the end result.  Juan showed up when promised and he and his crew stayed until the work was done.  Everyday, he showed up before 7 AM and did not leave until the sun had gone down. He could have easily cut corners throughout our project but had great attention to detail and excellent workmanship.  It is so difficult to find quality people who deliver quality products at a fair price.  I have hired Juan and his team to do a number of different projects and he has always been hands on, honest and worked within our budget.  He doesn't leave his crew unattended and remains on the job site throughout.  On the lawn care side, several neighbors commented how great our yard looked this year. It is really the small stuff that he does such as shaping our beds or cutting back shrubs without me asking him to do so.

The good news is that there are good people out there who work hard for a fair wage.  I highly recommend Juan for hardscaping projects, landscaping and other outside projects.
