Welding
The flanges of my car's exhaust system were rusting. One was completely broken and a second was about to break. I found new flanges on-line and stopped by Chris' shop to see if he could install them. He gave me a day to drop the car off and then did an excellent job installing the new flanges. Replacing the flanges saved me a lot of money by not having to replace the entire exhaust system which was, otherwise, fine.
While talking to Chris, I found out that he performs any kind of welding including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brazing, etc. He's been welding for 30 years and when I stopped by his shop he was working on anything from repairing small garden sculptures to modifying a large stainless steel commercial structure.
