He was good. It was quick. He fixed it just like he said. It was done in the time frame he said it would be and cost exactly what he said it as going to cost. Vacuum cleaners and sewing machines are his specialty and he knew what he was doing. My repair was pretty small and cost me $40, but I needed the vacuum cleaner.

Dropped off machine 5/07. Heard nothing from shop, called 9/07. He had phone number, written down wrong, okay, fine. Then he estimated two weeks to order & replace the part. Three months and four phone calls later, finally picked up machine 3/08. He never called me, I always had to call him. He never once apologized or even gave any indication that he saw anything wrong with the repair taking nine months. Will never set foot in his shop again.
