Flory diagnosed the problem. I decided to buy a new machine rather than go with expensive repair. Flory was knowledgeable, helpful and easy to talk to.

He was on-time, passed Labrador approval on entering the house, and after repairing my recalcitrant washing machine, let me pick his brains on best detergent to use, what new model washer to get when I can afford to replace my washer-guzzler, etc. Very knowledgeable.

FANTASTIC - If you ever have the chance to deal with Mike, you will see for yourself how GREAT he is on your own. He has been doing this for 40 years, is professional, honest and I seriously like him. He is welcome at my home anytime, and I would never call anyone else for any of my appliances. There is no doubt - this guy ROCKS!

I called Flory's on Thursday afternoon and was able to arrange an appointment for the very next afternoon. Mr. Flory arrived right on time and explained that while the "LE" status code indicated a motor failure in the dishwasher, there might not actually be a problem with the motor. He located and repaired some broken wiring in the door near the control panel, and secured the wire harness so it would not be as susceptible to flexing, pinching, and breaking in the future. The job was completed within 1/2 hour of his arrival, and the motor did not need to be replaced (although it would have still been under warranty anyway). I thought the charge of $120 was a bit high for 1/2 hour work, even allowing for a reasonable trip charge, but was otherwise satisfied with the work.

When I called them, they told me it would not be cost effective to install a new transmission and rather than charge us for a repair that didn't make sense, they recommended we purchase a new washing machine. I then spoke with Maytag and they confirmed his expert opinion. They could have done the work, but they were honest and were looking out for my better interest. They didn't do any work for us, so I can't comment on their price, punctuality, or quality of work, but they are a honest company and I would call them again.

He came out twice and my oven is still not fixed. He ordered the wrong part and installed it so it did not fix the problem. I have spent over $200.00 and now have to get someone else to correct the issue.
